JR Mosley JR Mosley 5'9" | 205 lbs | RB Hoover | 2026 State AL is a talented RB out of Hoover coming off a standout junior season last fall where he consistently carved up talented defenses on the ground all year.
Mosley is explosive out of Hoover’s backfield- he has great vision, speed, and twitch that allow him to find rushing lanes at the line of scrimmage and break away in the open field. I’m really impressed with Mosley’s quickness and acceleration, as soon as he turns the corner and starts heading upfield it’s challenging for defenses to catch up and stop him.
Mosley is also productive on passing downs, he has a reliable set of hands, good skills after the catch, and was a great safety outlet for his quarterback all year long.
Mosley put together some impressive numbers last season, ending his junior year with 146 carries for 622 yards and 6 TDs on the ground, with another 5 receptions for 53 yards through the air.
