Williams came into the tournament as one of the premier players in attendance, ranked here at PRZ as a top 5 player in Oklahoma. He has offers under his belt from Arizona and UTSA, and that’s before he has even fully cracked the varsity seal. Regardless, he absolutely warranted the hype today. Similar to McKinnon, when the ball went his way, I had supreme confidence in his ability to bring it down, which he did frequently. He is a twitched-up player who is going to get bigger, but he still has no problem winning above the rim at his current size. Really exciting prospect to watch.

The Broken Arrow native and #1 ranked ATH/WR in our Oklahoma class of 2029 rankings proved exactly why we have ranked so high during the SKLZ Speed Challenge with a tournament-best 4.59 40.

He has the speed to blow defenses away, plus the hands/explosiveness to win contested jump balls. It’s a lethal combination that we expect to pay huge dividends for Williams on the field.

Colleges are already taking notice, as Williams has landed multiple D1 offers, including UTSA and Arizona. We expect many more where that came from. He’ll be a player to watch in OK for the next few years.

Joseph Williams Joseph Williams 5'10" | 140 lbs | ATH/WR Broken Arrow | 2029 State OK displayed true athleticism last weekend.

Williams was regularly the go to guy for his Arkansas Diamond boys squad. Showing good size to go along with the ability to go up and grab the ball at the highest point Williams had a field day against some of the defenses in attendance.

He is a physically imposing type of player that loves to get dirty and use his strength while running his routes. He can snatch the ball from the air and always grabs the ball away from his frame.

Joseph Williams Joseph Williams 5'10" | 140 lbs | ATH/WR Broken Arrow | 2029 State OK is the second Broken Arrow Tiger on this breakdown and he’s also the second player that is waiting for that breakout moment under the Friday night lights. Williams played wide receiver and cornerback for Broken Arrow last fall but below the varsity level. His film is outstanding but it comes with that exception. However, we’ve seen Williams in person over the last two offseasons in various 7v7 tournaments and every time we’ve seen him, he’s routinely one of the top players in his age division. Williams is also on the radar of college coaches already. He’s one of a handful of 2029 prospects that already hold D1 offers as Arizona and UTSA have offered him in the last month. The ceiling for him is incredibly high. Like Wilkerson, we wouldn’t typically put a prospect that is not as experienced on the varsity level this high but it’s also obvious that Williams is at a different level.
