About Ayveron
Expert Analysis
Jonathan Davalos | Prep Redzone Scout
Ayveron turned heads all fall with a complete skill set that goes way beyond just toting the rock. Lined up out wide, his first highlight shows elite body control: he stretches fully for the grab, snatches it clean, and instantly flips into gear, leaving the defender behind. As a ball carrier, he’s a sharp cutter who plants, stops on a dime, and explodes back to top speed, head swiveling to scan for daylight.
Between the tackles, Ayveron’s quickness shines when the hole clogs. He darts laterally across the formation to find daylight before anyone can reset. He’s not just a pure burner, but he packs a punch, lowering the boom on high wrapping tacklers and finishing runs with authority. This kid’s vision, burst, and physicality make him a nightmare in space and a legit playmaker.

Right off the bat I am comfortable saying Ayveron Hudson is one of the best open field runners in the NJ 2030 class. A literal touchdown machine, Ayveron is one of the most creative ball carriers I’ve seen when he gets into the open field. With his vision, Ayveron has the ability to see the field open up in front of him and then proceed to utilize his speed to separate himself from his opponents and move laterally at will across the field.
With a plethora of tricks up his sleeve, Ayveron can run through or around any defender he squares up against. He is a lethal cutter and can stop on a dime to leave a defender grasping for air, but at the same time displays power back characteristics when he lowers his shoulder and punishes defenders in his path. With phenomenal contact balance to tie it all together, Ayveron is arguably my favorite prospect to watch out for as we enter the 2025 season.

is a dynamic 2030 football player who stands out on both sides of the ball. As a running back, he demonstrates exceptional vision and patience, reading the field with a maturity beyond his years. He follows his blockers with discipline, allowing plays to develop before bursting through the hole with sudden acceleration. His sharp cuts and breakaway speed make him a constant threat in the open field, and defenders often misjudge just how quickly he can change direction or hit a second gear. With quick feet and a natural feel for the game, he brings a spark to every offensive drive.
Defensively, he brings the same explosive athleticism to the linebacker position. With sharp instincts and quick reaction time, Ayveron reads plays swiftly and closes in with purpose. His quick-twitch movement allows him to shoot gaps, wrap up ball carriers, and end plays before they gain momentum. He’s a relentless presence on the field, capable of tracking runners across the field and making impact tackles. His speed and awareness make him a disruptive force, always around the ball and ready to make something happen.

I got an up close look at Hudson this past December at AYF Nationals, where he helped Olympus finish fifth in the 12U Division 2 bracket. While a fifth place finish may not impress, consider the fact that Olympus only lost by a touchdown to the eventual National Runner-Up in the opening game of the tournament. Hudson is a quick back with excellent vision that allows him to see small creases and accelerate through them in the blink of an eye. The speedster is reportedly considering both public and private schools as of Feb. 2025, with Roman Catholic and St. Joe’s Prep (both in Philadelphia) leading the way in the private sector.
