The big right guard and a captain for Johnston,

sets the tone on the offensive line for the Dragons. Standing at 6-foot-3 and 320 pounds with eye black all over his face, McClish is an intimidating offensive lineman that imposes his will on defensive tackles.
One of the main reasons Helming stayed clean for the majority of the night and Armstrong got going on the ground, McClish paves the way in the middle of the Johnston OL. Committed to Division II power Northwest Missouri State, McClish looks to be more of an FCS offensive lineman, and should be on many more recruiting boards at that level than he currently is.

The third-straight Des Moines-area metro product and the No. 14 prospect in the state,

is another available target in the state’s 2026 class. A mean, bulldozing left guard that already stands at 6’3″ and 320 pounds, McClish isn’t super explosive or necessarily a freak athlete, but once he gets off the ball and gets a head of steam, watch out. McClish knows how to overwhelm opposing defensive linemen with his size.
By choosing a program that emphasizes the weight room and getting off the ball, McClish has the chance to be a staple on an FCS offensive line for several years.
He holds D1 offers from St. Thomas, Drake and Northern Iowa, while D2 schools like Augustana, Sioux Falls, Northwest Missouri State, Wayne State, Minnesota State and Bemidji State have offered, as well.

McClish is a large human who faces limitations when playing hide-and-seek. He’s much more than just a big body getting in people’s way, however, as we can witness when watching his junior highlight video. McClish is quick off of the snap and moves well. It helps him succeed when he’s asked to block in space while pulling. McClish reaches those defenders with bad intentions. His power and physicality overwhelm opponents. McClish is a guard/center prospect that should be very successful at the next level, where he can further develop at the position.
