McCoy and the Sandites took care of business in the 41-7 win over Tahlequah. McCoy finished the game with well over 200 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries. The combination of McCoy and senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='382992' first='Kenneth' last='Page'] give the Sandites one of the top rushing attacks in Class 6A-2 and in the state overall. When you combine those two players with the talented offensive line, the Sandites have a duo that's going to be hard to slow down this season.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["633075"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Cushing's offense continued to roll as they beat up on Catoosa in week five. Senior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='633075' first='Brady' last='Matheson'] continued to have a strong season with arguably his best performance of the season. Matheson finished the night with seven catches for well over 200 yards and four touchdowns on the night. Matheson and the Cushing offense have picked up where they left off last season. Now, all eyes start looking ahead to Cushing's massive week six match-up on the road when they take on defending champion Wagoner. It's a rematch of last year's state title game where the Bulldogs stunned the Tigers on a field goal as time expired.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["188013"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Edmond Santa Fe junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='188013' first='Demarius' last='Robinson'] continues to be one of the top running backs in the state. Santa Fe clinched the city title with back to back wins over Edmond Memorial and Edmond North. The Wolves are now 3-1 on the season after going 1-9 last fall. Robinson is proving to be a difference maker after missing time last year, he's been healthy this season and has made up for that lost time. In the win on Friday night against Edmond North, Robinson finished with well over 250 yards and four touchdowns. He had 25 carries on the night and has been one of the best players in Oklahoma this season as he continues to put up monster numbers.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["1024822"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Chickasha senior running back and linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1024822' first='Derreck' last='Owens-Shells'] had a memorable night on Thursday night as they beat John Marshall on the road. It was a complete performance from him on offense and defense. He finished the night with 22 carries for 226 yards and three touchdowns. He would then turn around and have 11 tackles and a sack with a fumble recovery as well on defense. Chickasha is now 2-3 on the season and their emerging senior standout is a big reason why. Chickasha had to replace a stellar playmaker at running back in Malek Murphy from last season and it appears that they've found that player.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["998365"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"It feels like Apache standout [player_tooltip player_id='998365' first='Houston' last='Herrin'] has been on this feature almost every week over the last month. He had another great performance as the Warriors beat Hobart 40-26 on Friday night. Herrin continues to be dominant on the ground from the quarterback position. He carried the ball nearly 40 times on the night for just over 300 yards and four touchdowns. Herrin didn't just run the ball. He also went 5-8 for 134 yards and a touchdown. And Herrin didn't just tear it up on the offensive side of the ball. He came up with an interception on the defensive side of the ball. Herrin has quickly established himself as one of the best players in Class A this season.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["211556"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"Muskogee rolled to another easy win as they beat up on Putnam City West on Friday night. Junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='211556' first='Jamarian' last='Ficklin'] was hard to stop as he torched the Patriots with his arm. Last week, he beat up Sand Springs on the ground with five rushing touchdowns. This week, he threw eight touchdowns in the win. What's impressive about that number is that seven different players caught touchdown passes in the win. Overall, Ficklin threw for 375 yards and the eight touchdowns on 15-18 passing. Ficklin was recently added to the PRZ-Oklahoma Player Of The Year watchlist and there's no doubt that he's been one of the best players in the state.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["917639"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"It was a record-setting night for El Reno running back [player_tooltip player_id='917639' first='Malachi' last='Nicholson'] on Friday night. They would survive a high-scoring affair with a 68-67 victory over Noble. Nicholson put up numbers that we've never seen before in a single game in Oklahoma. Nicholson ran the ball 37 times for 521 yards and eight touchdowns. According to every records that we've been able to track, nobody has been able to run for that many yards in a single game. Nicholson came into this season with plenty of momentum after a breakout season last year. Nicholson is yet another example of a running back in Class 5A as this class is the best in Oklahoma at running back.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_7_player":["894347"],"_player_evaluations_7_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_7_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_7_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_7_evaluation":"Deer Creek junior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='894347' first='Mason' last='Smith'] came into this season as one of the top playmakers on this Antler offense after his breakout sophomore season. In another dominant win, the Deer Creek passing attack was on point. Smith finished the game with ten catches on the night with nearly 250 receiving yards and a touchdown. He also had a rushing touchdown in their win. Now, the Antlers will look to keep that momentum going into week six when they host Choctaw in a showdown that could end up deciding the district championship. The QB/WR duo of [player_tooltip player_id='242231' first='Grady' last='Adamson'] and Smith has proved to be tough to slow down so far this season.","_player_evaluations_7_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_8_player":["188014"],"_player_evaluations_8_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_8_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_8_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_8_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_8_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_8_evaluation":"Another week and another stellar performance from Union quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='188014' first='Shaker' last='Reisig'] as the Redhawks beat Yukon on the road. It's not even a question on whether or not Reisig is one of the best quarterbacks in the state. Now the question becomes whether or not Reisig is one of the best players in Oklahoma. Reisig was flawless once again as he threw for over 400 yards and four touchdowns on the night. He went 29-33 on the night as he had just as many touchdowns as he had incompletions. Reisig has been incredibly efficient throughout the season and shows no signs of slowing down. He's executing at a level that we don't see very often.","_player_evaluations_8_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_9_player":["231981"],"_player_evaluations_9_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_9_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_9_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_9_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_9_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_9_evaluation":"In the top game in Class 3A, we saw Perkins-Tryon knocking off Metro Christian at home in a big game that could decide the district championship. Prior to the game, we mentioned senior running back and defensive standout [player_tooltip player_id='231981' first='Tre' last='Stevenson'] as one of the players to watch this week and he lived up to the hype. Stevenson finished the game with 176 yards and a pair of touchdowns as he was a workhorse back with 26 carries on the night. After the game was tied at halftime, Stevenson scored his two touchdowns in the second half to give them the 21-7 win. He also totaled over 200 yards of total offense and had an interception on defense.","_player_evaluations_9_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":10,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6519a5a75a476"} /-->
OTHER NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

[player_tooltip player_id='144767' first='Carson' last='Clagg'] - 2024 Running Back - Chandler

Chandler improved to 4-1 on the season with a 55-30 win over Meeker and senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='144767' first='Carson' last='Clagg'] had a really good performance throughout the evening. Clagg was incredibly efficient with his carries on the evening. He only carried the ball 13 times and would still get close to 250 yards in their win on Friday night. The Lions are still in a good position in their district and they'll need Clagg to continue the strong play he showed in week five.

[player_tooltip player_id='1055383' first='Eli' last='Hensley'] - 2024 Running Back - Bishop Kelley

Bishop Kelley got a big win at home when they handed Collinsville their first loss of the season. The Bishop Kelley rushing attack could not be slowed down as they had a pair of players that eclipsed the 100 yard mark on the night. Senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1055383' first='Eli' last='Hensley'] ran for over 100 yards and three touchdowns on the night. The Comets have now won three in a row after an 0-2 start and the Comets control their destiny in the district title race.

[player_tooltip player_id='530573' first='Kale' last='Charboneau'] - 2025 Quarterback - Wagoner

Defending 4A champion Wagoner would shut out Oologah with a 24-0 win. Junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='530573' first='Kale' last='Charboneau'] continued his stellar season in the win. He threw for nearly 350 yards on 25-33 passing and a touchdown in the win. Charboneau also turned around and had nearly ten tackles on the defensive side of the ball. Charboneau and the Wagoner offense are definitely airing it out more this season and he has a chance to shatter some passing records.

[player_tooltip player_id='110745' first='Knox' last='Dyson'] - 2024 Quarterback - Owasso

Owasso senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='110745' first='Knox' last='Dyson'] is no stranger to this weekend post as he's been one of the better quarterbacks in Class 6A-1 this fall. Dyson and the Rams bounced back in a big way following a loss to Union in the district opener. The Rams were dominant in a 54-3 win over Mustang. Dyson was 19-26 for nearly 250 yards and four touchdowns on the night. The Rams are getting better and better every time they take the field.

[player_tooltip player_id='402380' first='Lemar' last='Davis'] - 2026 Running Back - Millwood

Millwood has won four games in a row after a season-opening loss to Heritage Hall. The Falcons beat up on Chisholm with a 34-16 victory. Leading the way was sophomore running back [player_tooltip player_id='402380' first='Lemar' last='Davis'] as the Falcons dealt with injuries to some of their key players on offense. Davis finished with nearly 200 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 14 carries. Davis moved to Millwood in the summer and has become an instant impact player for the Falcons.
