Mission Viejo is banged up on defense so the Diablos may have to put up a lot of points to outscore Mater Dei in round one. Fahey is very capable of putting up big numbers to lead the Diablos to victory. In his last game, he threw for a school-record 569 yards with five touchdowns.

He was very accurate down the field and was consistently making the right reads. Fahey spread the ball around to different receivers and four different Diablos caught touchdown passes.

Fahey completed 77 percent of his passes for 1638 yards with 17 touchdowns and zero interceptions last season. This year he finally takes the reigns of the offense after splitting reps each of the past two seasons.
He’s brilliant in his decision making and goes through his progressions quickly. Fahey is accurate to all three levels of the field and is a dangerous scrambler who can buy time with his legs. He really impressed me with his accuracy and his leadership at the Battle at the Beach tournament earlier this month. It’s easy to see why Ohio State pulled the trigger and offered him.

The recent Ohio State commit was missing two of his top receivers, but was hitting the other ones in stride. He consistently makes all the right reads, has impeccable timing and is one of the more accurate quarterbacks in the class.
I also was impressed by Fahey’s leadership in the huddle and in between games.
