*Use code "jackson30" for 30% off your PRZ subscription*

June 15th is here, marking a massive day on the calendar for 2028 prospects. Phone calls, texts, and every form of communication imaginable will be flying around today. As college coaches and personnel make their rounds, these 10 prospects need to be considered and paid close attention to.

Carr is firmly on the FBS radar and will get plenty of love both today and going forward, but he is still someone out of AL that coaches need to at least talk to. He is truly one of the more active, athletic DL prospects that you will watch on tape in the 2028 class. He hovers around 6'1 and makes up that frame with elite first-step quickness, pursuit speed, and the ability to bend. He plays hard, and he will find the field at the next level quickly as a result. He has all the tools and traits to be an exception for his size.

I turned on the tape and was introduced to Howard a month ago. He is a true ILB prospect, standing at a stout, strong 6'0 200. The intrigue here is set by his speed. He is a sub-11-second runner in the 100M, a really impressive mark for a player at his weight and with his body type. As you could expect, he has plenty of range, but he is strong enough to control the point and thump in the gaps as well. Just a well-rounded player with his blend of speed and strength, and he is firmly on the FBS radar already as a result.

Talking to personnel recruiting AL, they are waiting for more QBs in the state to emerge. Given the opportunity, I am eyeing [player_tooltip player_id='1651373' first='Nash' last='Davis'] really closely, and anybody recruiting AL should as well. He is a tall, towering prospect at 6'5 220, and with a multi-sport background, doubling as a good baseball player. Davis is made to push the ball vertically, possessing a big arm to make big plays, but he also gets the ball out quickly, which helps him attack tighter windows. There is so much to like here, and I think he could be the next guy to emerge as a true P4 QB prospect out of AL in the 2028 class.

I have long been a fan of Charbonnet, who I am still waiting on to get his flowers nationally. He, too, doubles as a baseball player and is generating some noise on the diamond as well. He has an already massive frame and holds that weight well athletically. He is an extremely violent, ridiculously physical blocker who takes pride in being mean and moving people. He has no issue driving defenders through the turf and popping them off their feet. It is really hard to believe things will stay quiet here forever, so I yet again wanted to recognize him here.

There are a couple of FBS offers under the belt for Derico, but I still think there is another level of recruitment still creeping up on him. He is a massive, broad player at 6'6 320 pounds. He is certainly a raw athlete who is still getting his feet under him and learning how to move. Regardless, he is a lot of mass to have to run through and a lot of length to have to run around. He works hard to leverage second-level defenders properly, and I like how he uses his hands when attacking pass rushers around the arc. Someone will take a chance on Derico, and he should only put out better tape from here.

Puckett is a thicker, broad prospect who plays a lot of tackle, but will likely project best as an IOL. He carries his weight well, flashing impressive foot speed and quickness, which helps him mirror pass rushers and leverage second-level defenders. Subtle nuance mechanic tweaks, such as hand placement and pad level, are the next step for him, but he is still a mound of a human and can easily move people, even if the technique isn't perfect. This is a clear D1 OL prospect.

I have always been a big fan of Peayton Bean, and now that he is at Benedictine Military, I think there is a good chance for him to emerge. He is such a smooth, clean operator with excellent body control. He climbs the ladder and wins above the rim better than most receivers at his size, which gives him true inside-out ability. Bean is clean and projects as a high-floor receiver. FBS schools should check in here.

Here is what I had to say about Gaddy, whom I wrote about a 3 weeks back:

"A couple of offers from Gaddy this offseason tossed him onto my radar. He is a true breakout candidate and should grow into a wrecker this fall for Hillgrove. Gaddy is a long, rangy edge defender with the speed to play off the ball, but he will make his money as a pass rusher. He is explosive off the line and has a hot motor. He can really get after it, consistently chasing the QB across the field and working through the whistle. There is real potential to turn speed to power here as he grows. Gaddy has a chance to really explode this fall."

As the 2028 QB class continues to take shape in GA, it is important to highlight some guys still creeping onto the scene, and [player_tooltip player_id='661884' first='Harris' last='Turner'] checks that box. He doubles as an impressive baseball prospect and has plenty of frame to fill out and develop. He is still raw, but has a natural delivery and life on the ball, which he carries over from baseball. I would keep a close eye on Turner this fall, as it at least seems like he will step in at QB for Cartersville.

Halcomb shared some reps alongside Rahman last fall, and while he doesn't fully have the job yet, there are a lot of reasons to get excited about this kid. He just looks the part of a traditional, high-profile QB prospect. He has a quick, explosive delivery with easy spin on the football. His mechanics are clean. As I alluded to earlier, this is how they're supposed to look, and while he holds P4 and FBS offers, more are coming.
