There’s plenty of reason to get fired up about Gaddy, who is firmly on the FBS radar after this offseason. He is a rangy edge defender who plays longer than his height suggests. He has the speed to play off the ball and work sideline to sideline, but he can get after it as a pass rusher. His first-step explosiveness and motor help him turn speed to power. I am a big fan of Gaddy, and while there is plenty of buzz here, I still don’t think enough people are talking about him.

An aggressive, sure-tackling defender in Cobb County, Gaddy is a relentless defender with versatility who can play on the edge of in the middle of the field. He brings good size at 6-foot-2 220-pounds who can overpower opposing linemen with enough burst to chase down the ball-carrier on the other side of the field. He’s still flying under the radar, but his stock is rising on Prep Redzone. One of the region’s top returning defenders, Gaddy is coming off an impressive sophomore season in 2025 where he provided a lengthy frame and ability to create chaos at and behind the line of scrimmage. He’s an easy addition to the latest rankings and in store for a promising junior season.
