Moore, perhaps quietly, was one of the most productive rushers in the state last year, and he will once again be the tone setter for Hillgrove as a senior. He is a tall, loose, leggy RB prospect with long strides and plenty of space to fill out and pack on more mass. He is a slick, smooth runner who can weave. Even without a thumper build, he is tough against contact and strains the most out of each rep. Moore has added several D1 offers this offseason, getting the ball rolling on his recruitment.
This was my first close look at Moore, who averaged over 9.2 YPC and eclipsed over 1400 total yards on the season. Moore is a tall, lean athlete with room to get bigger. He is a loose athlete with long strides, flashing some wiggle and speed in space. For a thinner prospect, he is a tough runner against contact and is hard to get wrapped. As he gets bigger, he will only improve and become a more explosive athlete, and he absolutely has the space to do so.
A quick, explosive back in Cobb County with impressive change of direction, Moore is a shifty back with good vision and the ability to run for a big gain any time he has the ball. Moore showed breakaway speed and the ability to break tackles against quality defenders. He ran against stout defenses all year long and still ran for 1,337 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, hitting the 100-yard mark seven times and averaging an impressive 9.2 yards per carry. He showed easy D1-caliber talent and Power Four potential this fall so don’t be surprised if some impressive offers come his way in the off-season. He’s now ranked as the No. 20 RB prospect in the state for the 2027 class.
A tackle-breaking back on the rise in Cobb County, Moore is an effective runner who can be tough to tackle down the field. He runs well and brings a promising 6-foot-0 180-pound frame. Playing against quality competition on a weekly basis, Moore found a way to make an impact every week during Hillgrove’s strong regular season. Moore hit the 100-yard mark in five games and rushed for at least 200 years in each of his last two games. He ran for at least one touchdown in eight games and was one of the more consistent backs in his region. He’s a sleeper 2027 back who flashed D1-caliber talent and could see some college interest and possible offers come his way in the off-season. He’ll also be added to the next 2027 Prep Redzone rankings.
