He doubles as a baseball prospect. Gandy is impressive at critical points of the route, creating deception and getting DBs off platform with efficient footwork and strong head nods. He maintains his top gear when running across the field, helping him separate. He has a massive frame and plenty of space to get bigger. Uses his length to his advantage to long arm blockers and engulf ball carriers. Rangy athlete for his size who can chase the ball when clear of blocks. Would love to see how he grows as a block shedder. Moore is a tall, lean athlete with room to get bigger. He is a loose athlete with long strides, flashing some wiggle and speed in space. For a thinner prospect, he is a tough runner against contact and is hard to get wrapped. Stang is a reliable pass catcher as a TE, both close to the LOS and down the field. He has long strides, is light on his feet, and can roll after the catch. Truly impressive ability to win in several ways. Strong at the point of attack, can create push. Feisty hands paired with an impressive first step help him shed and work both shoulders. Active pursuer. Underrated. Would benefit from camping to get measurements, but the tape is impressive, and he is someone I will continue to monitor closely. Downhill player who rallies hard, strikes hard, and does a good job of mirroring the ball. Think this could be a big spring for him when coaches roll through Newton. He would benefit greatly getting in front of college coaches when the summer camp season comes around.
