Connor Jackson | Prep Redzone Scout
Davis, who doubles as a baseball prospect, was arguably our top QB performer at our Battle in Bama tournament. You can’t argue against his traits. He is all of 6’5 220, and when it’s fun to watch him throw. Everything is easy. The ball spins out of his hand, and he has no problem touching each spot on the field. He did all of this in absolutely horrendous throwing conditions, which makes it even more impressive.

a few weekends back and given his traits and background, he has a chance to really rise and stick out in the 2028 QB class in Alabama. He doubles as a really impressive baseball player as well, easily touching 90 MPH just as a sophomore. An obviously impressive arm talent on his big frame. He can make every throw on the field and do it with ease. He is more of a pocket passer, but has the pocket mobility to evade pressure and operate in space if needed. Holds an offer from Jax State, but I am expecting more.

is one of the up-and-coming talents everyone needs to watch out for going into next season, and in this update, he’s become our #5 QB and #43 overall player in the class.
“It’s hard to believe Davis is only a freshman, he’s 6’5 205, and has some impressive arm strength he uses to push the ball downfield for huge gains. I’m really impressed with Davis’s accuracy and ball placement; he leads his WRs perfectly and does a great job of not putting the ball in harm’s way.
It’s also impressive watching how well Davis moves around and commands the pocket already. He can avoid pressure and create extra time for himself in the backfield and has the field vision to go through all of his progressions and find and hit the open man.“
Davis is already picking up steam on the recruiting trail, listing offers from Jacksonville State and Samford.
Everyone needs to look out for him next season, I think he could end up as one of the players in the class. In the meantime, be sure to check out some of his film below:

Davis is an early candidate for tournament MVP. You have to love the traits on this kid. Big, tall, strong frame, and doubles as an intriguing baseball prospect. Kid can boom the ball, and does so easily. Each spot of the field is reachable, and he attacked those levels with touch and precision as well. He slung the ball around to an energetic group of receivers who exit pool play with plenty of momentum.
