Jayce Mims Jayce Mims 5'9" | 165 lbs | DB/WR Spain Park | 2027 AL is a talented safety from Spain Park who has a huge senior season ahead of him next fall.

“Mims is a ball hawk safety who uses his speed, vision, and vertical to intercept passes all over the field. He’s a rangy DB who can fly all over the secondary to provide great coverage and run support. I’m really impressed with his IQ and instincts- he consistently puts himself in great position to create impact plays every down.

I love Mims’ physicality. He’s a force in man coverage who can jam up and obliterate WRs in short-yardage/goal-line situations. On top of that, Mims has some serious value on special teams as well. He’s a talented returner with great field vision and speed that you can count on to put you in great starting field position or even the endzone any time he’s set up to return.“

Mims is a really talented player who I think is set up for a big final season this upcoming fall. I hadn’t watched Mims until today, but I am really impressed and looking forward to seeing him play. In the meantime, be sure to watch his film below:
