Charbonnet is one of my favorite 2028 OL prospects in the state and is set to make his rightful debut in our next rankings update. Charbonnet is an animal, playing with a truly eye-opening level of violence and energy, and he does so on a frame that falls into prototype range for the position. He has no issue toying with defenders, and a baseball background adds more context to his level of athleticism.

I have long been a fan of Charbonnet, who I am still waiting on to get his flowers nationally. He, too, doubles as a baseball player and is generating some noise on the diamond as well. He has an already massive frame and holds that weight well athletically. He is an extremely violent, ridiculously physical blocker who takes pride in being mean and moving people. He has no issue driving defenders through the turf and popping them off their feet. It is really hard to believe things will stay quiet here forever, so I yet again wanted to recognize him here.

is a talented OL from Bob Jones who’s been developing really nicely over the last two seasons.
“I feel like we need to check Sam Charbonnet’s ID, cause there is no way he’s coming off his sophomore year of high school. At 6’5 305, Charbonnet is a massive LT who’s incredibly mobile, and can flatten out any defensive lineman in his path.
Charbonnet is a ridiculously talented run blocker. He explodes off the line, plays with great leverage and power, and can drive defenders off the line and several yards downfield, providing tons of space for his teammates to capitalize on.”
Charbonnet has put together some really impressive tape from his first two years. Make sure you take a look at some of his film below, you’ll be impressed.

Dating back to last fall, I have been a massive fan of Charbonnet, and I think it’s a matter of time before FBS recruiting buzz comes his way. You can’t argue anything about the frame. He is now listed at 6’6 325, and holds that weight very well. He is already built like a college-ready player, and he still has two years to develop. Charbonnet is an extremely violent, physical blocker who can drive defenders through the turf and knock them off their feet. Again, all things considered, it’s really hard to believe that he won’t receive major recruiting attention sometime in the near future.
