As stated in the MVP article, Cole was the consensus best quarterback through feedback received from multiple coaches in attendance at the showcase. The most impressive portion of the showcase for Cole was during the red zone 1 on 1 period, where the field shrinks and accuracy has to be at a premium for completions. Cole consistently put the ball where it needed to be for his receivers to make plays against tight man to man coverage. Cole has been picking up multiple offers this offseason - something that has been tough to do for most quarterbacks - and he's poised to have a big senior year in an offense that should give him every opportunity to be successful.

As I have said consistently about Hudson, he's got the size and arm strength you want in a classic drop back quarterback who can slice you up from the pocket. His mechanics are strong and I like how he just looks with his presence in delivering the football. A lot will depend this season on who he's throwing to in the Trojan's offensive attack, but I think Hudson has grown physically. Even though he's at his best in the pocket, he looked pretty fluid going through the agility circuit, so I wouldn't be surprised to see a little bit more mobility out of his game in his senior year.

I think we will need to update Aiden's size and weight on his profile, because the first thing that stood out about him to me was that he was definitely bigger in person than he's listed here. That's a good thing for sure. Aiden has improved with his fundamentals from what I saw, mainly with his footwork and drop rhythms throwing the football. Everything looks much more fluid and natural than what I've seen out of him previously. That's a testament to the work he's been putting in throughout the offseason. It will be interesting to see who Country Day's quarterback will ultimately be as we get into August, because it could be a fun battle with multiple talented players vying for the spot, including Aiden.

I heard a lot about Jordan coming into the showcase, so I really wanted to take some time and watch him work throughout the showcase. The main thing that I love is just his poise and confidence. For one second you would never think he's a Class of 2030 quarterback. He's so far ahead of quarterbacks in his class from just the fundamental aspects of knowing how to throw on rhythm with various routes. The arm strength at his age level is impressive. And then physically again, you know he's most likely going to keep growing and he's already standing at 6'2. I see why he's received early offers, because Jordan is a safe bet to become a really strong player in his future. I think the sky is the limit for this young man.

Chase is a big, strong-armed quarterback that you can really get excited watching. He's got the tools that you want to be a good quarterback from the pocket. The only thing missing is all of the film you want when evaluating a quarterback, and he played behind a good player last season. Indications are this season that he's got a strong chance to become the starting quarterback for the Vikings, and with a recent coaching change, Chase has a clean slate to build from for the upcoming season. We've got him on the Watch List because we think he's a player that can jump on the scene strong going into his senior year for South Iredell.

Atodrick, or AJ as his nickname, had a good day at the showcase. Coming into it, he was determined to do well and I could see his level of focus was locked in from the start. As a dual-threat quarterback, AJ looked strong throughout the agility circuit, as you would expect him to. AJ does a good job of throwing on the run, outside of the pocket, and he looked smooth doing that in that portion of the individual period. AL Brown returns a number of important starters this season and should be the early favorite to win their conference. AJ is certainly a big reason why.

The first time I saw Jonah on film he was a freshman getting some varsity reps at a different school, but he was holding his own, and that got him on our radars initially at Prep RedZone North Carolina. Ever since then, Jonah has continued to grow his game both physically and skill wise. I am really excited to see what he puts together this season for a Jordan program who is a state title contender with the number of talented players on that team this upcoming season. Jonah looks like the full package - he's always been a player who can move around the pocket and make off-schedule plays with his athletic ability and good arm strength. He's a player to watch that may pop on to recruiting lists for college football programs with a strong start to the season.

Ty has been a player I loved ever since I saw him live as a sophomore at a previous school. He's since moved to Spartans and has started to flourish with a strong season last year. Even with a coaching change in the program, I expect Ty to have a really good senior year. Ty completed some impressive passes in the 1 on 1 portion of the showcase, and displayed an impressive combination of accuracy and arm strength on those throws. I definitely believe that Ty can be a college football quarterback, and even though he's a bit under the radar for where he plays, he's one of the best quarterbacks in the Charlotte Metro Area for sure.
