Ty has been a player I loved ever since I saw him live as a sophomore at a previous school. He’s since moved to Spartans and has started to flourish with a strong season last year. Even with a coaching change in the program, I expect Ty to have a really good senior year. Ty completed some impressive passes in the 1 on 1 portion of the showcase, and displayed an impressive combination of accuracy and arm strength on those throws. I definitely believe that Ty can be a college football quarterback, and even though he’s a bit under the radar for where he plays, he’s one of the best quarterbacks in the Charlotte Metro Area for sure.

Quietly, Ty started to realize the potential I’ve seen in him over his first two years this past season for the Spartans. Throwing for over 2600 yards and 25 touchdowns this past season, Ty is an under-the-radar prospect who could end up being a steal for a college football program. Though there has been a coaching change, I expect Ty to build on that performance this upcoming season. I like Ty’s overall combination of accuracy and arm strength throwing the football.

Throwing for over 2600 yards and 26 touchdowns, Ty played in an offense that was a quarterback’s dream – he was able to show off his arm to all areas of the field on a variety of routes and concepts. Coming over from Hopewell, Ty really got to show all of the things that make him a player that coaches want to build their offense around. An All-Conference selection, Ty doesn’t have a ton of recruiting interest around him at the moment, but a strong offseason, I think, will start to change that narrative a good bit.

I love that Sigler trusts his arm and takes some risks, so much so that the interception numbers don’t concern me. The recent transfer has a huge arm and has showcased above-average athleticism as a junior. His arm talent is undeniable, and I like how he’s showing continued improvement this season.

We’ve seen Sigler several times at various camps this offseason and he looks better than we’ve ever seen him. He has some athleticism and rushing ability, and the Hopewell transfer has the talent to really shine. He can spin it, and I’m interested to see how that translates to Community School.

Moving over to the Community School of Davidson from Hopewell this season, Ty has had some good performances at earlier camps. My colleague Will Helms was very impressed with his performance at our Prep Redzone Combine last month. Ty is a fundamentally solid QB, and I’m looking for him to show that and some good accuracy this weekend.
