Welker has been a leader for the Greencastle defense since week 1 of his freshman year. He's always been a tackling machine who is always near the ball 1 way or another. He can press the line and create pressure, and then drop back into coverage or play the run. He's got good gap discipline and knows how to use his length near the line. He can get off blocks fairly easily and wrap up with 1 hand. He's developed his frame throughout his highschool career and it's helped round out his game. Through 33 games, he has 405 tackles, 238 being solos, 30 TFLs, 6 sacks, 2 interceptions, and 3 forced fumbles.

Sowunmi is a talented EDGE who checks quite a few boxes. He's got the frame and length to succeed at the next level. He's got a quick first step and doesn't waste much movement off the line. He primarily lines up on the edge but has rotated in at the 3, 5, 7, and 9 tech positions and has been successful. He can play the run on the inside and contain the edge on the outside. He has good closing speed and plays with proper pad level. His 36 tackles, 10 TFLs, 6 sacks, and 1 forced fumble closed out his promising junior campaign. Brownsburg is going to be up quite a bit, which will allow Sowunmi to pin his ears back and get after the QB all year long.

Voss is a rangy Edge who has long strides that can get deep into the backfield in just a few steps. He's got good closing speed and can wrap up in the open field. He's got good balance and doesn't get knocked off his spot easily. He can play the run and fill gaps properly. He won't abandon his lane and give up the easy play. He's good at ripping the ball out and knows to throw his arms up if he doesn't get home. I like his consistency and how he built upon his first year starting. Over his last 20 games, he's put up 126 tackles, 12 TFLs, 7 sacks, recovered 5 fumbles, and deflected 2 passes.

Wilson flashed quite a bit for Yorktown last year and had a good season overall. He's got the prototypical length for an Edge with a strong lower body. He moves well laterally and can string out plays east/west in the backfield. He's got a good first step off the line and can immediately be on the offensive lineman. He can win with speed on the outside and then can work the inside shoulder to get home. He finished the season with 25 tackles, 7 TFLs, 4 sacks, 4 PBUs, and an interception. His instincts on the field keep him versatile with untapped potential.

Sutton is a rising piece for the Warren Central defense because of the versatility he offers. He has the frame to withstand being in the trenches and has had success with it. He's come off the edge and been on the interior. He's got the athletiscm to drop back into coverage and play LB when needed. He's got a good swim move and can get underneath the hands of the offensive line. His hands are strong as well, which helps him at the point of attack. He had a decent year rotating in for their defense and should be ready for a bigger role this fall.

Edwards is a high-motor type of player who has been ultra productive player who still continues to improve each week. He's developed his frame over the past 2 years, which has really helped him in the trenches. He moved from the 2nd level to the line last year and didn't miss a beat. While he still has the range of an LB, he's just best near the LOS. He's strong, can force fumbles, and holds his lanes well. He is a run stuffer who clogs gaps and helps elevate others around him. Year 3 saw him put up 120 tackles with 21 TFLs, 2 sacks, 2 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles, and a PBU. He's a small school stud who dominates the way you should if you want to separate yourself from the pack.

Clarke is tucked away on the SE side of Indy, dominating the guys he goes against. He's got good length and long arms, which help him with first contact. He's got a strong upper body that helps him bullrush and move the OL back off the line. He can longarm and extend to break free and maintain the edge. He's fairly disciplined and seems like he's well-coached while understanding how to play the run, how to key on passes, and not put himself in bad positions. He's had good back-to-back years and got better in year 2, where he put up 61 tackles, 10 TFLs, 6 sacks, and recovered a fumble.

Jones is coming off a breakout year for Carmel and looked good doing it. He's got a decent frame and can play both the first and second levels. He's got the range to drop back into coverage as an LB when needed and the strength to press the line when asked. He's got a good swipe that will remove OL contact and break him free. He's shifty in short areas for a guy his size, which helps him break down and make open-field tackles. He put up 55 tackles, 9 TFLs, 5 sacks, 1 PBU, and a fumble recovery in year 1 starting. He'll likely be a Senior leader upfront and has himself primed for a big year.

Pasyk has paid his dues and put the work in behind the scenes to get his opportunities, and he's made the most of them. Westfield is a talented program, and he should be set to help lead the defensive line this fall. He's an aggressive interior lineman who plays hard and fast. He doesn't take snaps off and sprints to the ball. He plays through the whistle and has good lane integrity against the run. He's not moved off his spot and can split double-teams to make the play if it comes his way. He's not the most well-known recruit, but he's reliable and is the exact kind of guy who makes football go round. He shows up, does his job, does it well, and lets the work speak for itself.
