Expert Analysis
Sam Erman | Prep Redzone Scout
Clarke is tucked away on the SE side of Indy, dominating the guys he goes against. He’s got good length and long arms, which help him with first contact. He’s got a strong upper body that helps him bullrush and move the OL back off the line. He can longarm and extend to break free and maintain the edge. He’s fairly disciplined and seems like he’s well-coached while understanding how to play the run, how to key on passes, and not put himself in bad positions. He’s had good back-to-back years and got better in year 2, where he put up 61 tackles, 10 TFLs, 6 sacks, and recovered a fumble.

Clarke is a fairly produtive smaller school Edge who continues to develop and make plays all over the field. He’s got good range and length. His closing speed helps him rundown plays and make TFLs in the backfield. He takes good angles and has no issue getting off an interior block. He can win inside and outside to get home. I feel like once he hits a collegiate lifting program he’ll begin to fully flourish. Over the past 2 seasons starting he’s put up 102 total tackles, 17 TFLs, 10 sacks, and 2 fumble recoveries.

Dallas Clarke Dallas Clarke 6'3" | 245 lbs | EDGE/TE Triton Central | 2027 State IN is a classic sleeper prospect in the Class of 2027. Clarke, not to be confused with the longtime former Indianapolis Colts tight end, is a strong edge prospect who can turn the corner, takes great angles to the quarterback and knows how to run and hit. Clarke looks very tough and physically strong with a frame that has more room to grow. Another potential prospect who should see his stock rise during college camps.

Clarke strikes me as someone who is well-coached and knows how to play within the scheme. He won’t make many mistakes and does a good job chasing down the play from the backside. He times the snap well and forces the tackle to gain depth; otherwise, they get beat off the line. With 61 tackles, 10 TFLs, 6 sacks, and 1 fumble recovery as a junior, he set himself up for a good senior year.
