Pasyk has paid his dues and put the work in behind the scenes to get his opportunities, and he’s made the most of them. Westfield is a talented program, and he should be set to help lead the defensive line this fall. He’s an aggressive interior lineman who plays hard and fast. He doesn’t take snaps off and sprints to the ball. He plays through the whistle and has good lane integrity against the run. He’s not moved off his spot and can split double-teams to make the play if it comes his way. He’s not the most well-known recruit, but he’s reliable and is the exact kind of guy who makes football go round. He shows up, does his job, does it well, and lets the work speak for itself.
High academic defensive lineman. A bit on the lighter and quicker side, would like to see him add some weight, but he can plug the middle as a DT. Shows good pursuit / chase / motor and angles to ballcarriers.
Pasyk has put in the work physically, adding 20+ pounds of muscle over the past few years, and it shows in his game. He’s got a strong first step and knows how to use his frame to generate power off the edge. While he’s serviceable against the run, his real impact comes in the pass rush, where he can bend, disengage, and get after the quarterback. With his added strength and continued development, I think he has a huge breakout season this fall.
Transferring from Texas and looking to make his impact in the Hoosier state is Pasyk, a versatile lineman who can play either inside or outside. He’s ahead of schedule with his physical build and it’s helped him tremendously on the field to this point. Now, it’ll be working on his craft and being more creative. He’s talented, has a good build, and should be able to make an impact this fall.
Pasyk has a good frame and size that should help him stay productive as he gets a better feel for the varsity level. He’s got a strong lower body and does a good job staying grounded. He stays off his heels and can move laterally without any issues there. He’s able to wrap up and make tackles in open space, but proper form is still on its way. Pasyk should be set to help Westfield next fall upfront and make his impact right away.
