Nicholas Schurman’s efforts are really starting to pay off. Schurman, a 6-foot-5, 290-pound offensive tackle for Westfield, has seen offers roll in from Purdue, Miami-Ohio and Air Force over the past couple of weeks and more are likely to come his way. Schurman has great first-step quickness, good leg drive as a run blocker and fires forward nicely at the second level. Plays with good hand placement and strike timing. With his frame, the sky is the limit.

Nicholas Schurman, a starting offensive tackle for Westfield, is a bulldozer in the run game. The 6-foot-5, 290-pound offensive lineman is a mauler, running his feet on contact and driving defenders off the ball. I love Schurman’s physicality, foot speed and leg drive, creating open lanes for the state championship runner-ups. He will be a key returner on Westfield’s team that looks to reach Lucas Oil Stadium this season, hopefully coming out on top. He picked up his first offer from Purdue.

Nick Schurman Nick Schurman 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL Westfield | 2027 State IN , an offensive tackle for Westfield, is a tough and rugged run blocker who runs his feet on contact and creates vertical push. SCchurman is also a good puller who can bucket-step, quickly get across the line of scrimmage and find someone to block through the hole on power and counter runs. Good size and strength with a lean, muscular frame.
