OHSAA State Final Top Performers: Avon vs. Anderson

Blake completed 12/18 passes on the night and finished with 216 yards and four passing touchdowns, tying the D2 state championship record for passing touchdowns. His ball looked good, flying over the middle of the field with velocity and accuracy. He also made some plays with his legs as a runner. He created a lot of pressure on key 3rd and 4th downs, and contributed heavily to the five team sacks on the Anderson quarterback. He had a good speed and power blend tonight. He runs through contact, and is able to fight for extra yards. He has great vison and is patient to let holes develop. He's shifty in open space and can get to the edge. He created lane after lane for runners to get through and was excellent in pass protection. Made several plays up front defensively as well.
