Rainer is the top defensive back in the state of Virginia and his offer list lends credence to that fact. Duke, Penn State, Michigan, Wisconsin, South Carolina, USC, and Pittsburgh are several of the 10-plus schools that have offered him. I don't know if it's anything Rainer can't do on the football field from a defensive standpoint. He can line up at either safety or cornerback. His most recent season highlights show him breaking up passes, laying the boom on people, and even sacking the quarterback. He's got what they call that "dawg" in him. It's no surprise, being as though his father is 8-year NFL vet Wali Rainer.

I'm a bottom-line type of person. In this case, the bottom line is that Skogen has helped Trinity get to 8-1. He's completed 64 of 105 passes for 1,193 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. The touchdown-to-interception rate could be better, but there's only one loss on the resume for this season. Browns does put zip on the football and can make throws all across the field. He's mobile and throws solid passes on the move as well.

Parks has carried the football 151 times for 955 yards and 12 touchdowns in nine games. He has four games with 100-plus yards rushing with a season-high 222 yards (34 carries) in a 45-28 win against Flint Hill. I'll say this much, he's a north-south runner who reaches top-speed quickly. Parks is getting to the second-level of defenses in a hurry. He does his best work in-between the tackles and doesn't go down easy. Don't sleep though, he's agile enough to cut to the outside and turn the corner on defenders when needed as well. Parks will easily hit the 1,000 yard mark and that will most likely be this upcoming weekend.

Brown is the leading receiver for Trinity with 21 catches for 557 yards (26.5 yards per catch) and eight touchdowns in nine games. He's also carried the football 28 times for 270 yards and eight touchdowns. Brown's double-digit offer list includes Penn State, Duke, Georgia, Michigan, Maryland, and Tennessee. He was previously committed to Penn State but opened up his recruitment during the aftermath of then-head coach James Franklin being fired. He's a dangerous wide receiver. Against Benedictine last week, he caught a bubble-screen pass against double-coverage, got a couple of great blocks, and took it 65-plus yards for a touchdown down the sidelines. Playmaker.

Cherry's early offer list includes ODU, Temple, East Carolina, and Charlotte. Former 8-year NFL vet Wali Rainer described Cherry as a player with "high football IQ, elite athleticism, instincts, and intelligence." He is truly a heat-seeking missile on the field. Cherry isn't the biggest (currently listed at 6-0, 195 pounds), but when he hits you, it's with maximum force. The closing speed is exceptional and he is a strong open-field tackler. Cherry runs through ball carriers with aggression. I'd also like to add that he's a special teams demon on kickoffs. A couple of his highlights show him coming down on kickoffs and laying the boom on a kick returner. I don't know his official stats, but my guess is is that he has a lot of tackles on his 2025 season resume.

Love is a Howard football commit. Love is a true sideline-to-sideline backer, able to play both the middle and outside positions. He has nice range and impressive closing speed. Love is athletic enough to cover downfield and makes plays in space. He's just an all-around force that you see on film making big hits, tackles for a loss, and breaking up passes.
