I have seen multiple middle school games this Fall in the Hampton Roads region. Some talented teams to include Blair, Churchland, Oscar Smith, and the 757 Colts. Lots of depth on all of these teams. Below are a list of prospects, who I believe have the ability, genetics, habits, and character to become FBS prospects. These kids are not done growing, and are already flashing college attributes in eighth grade. With consistency in the weight room, good coaching, and training, these kids can be high level prospects in three years.

Love how this kid moves and attacks the ball carrier/QB. He has great pursuit angles coming off the edge. Also has the COD and athleticism to recover, didn't see him get caught over pursuing once. Would be great defending RPO QBs. Just a great combination of fundamentals, burst, explosion, and recovery. Kid is definitely born to play edge. COD, range, short area quickness, and motor are fantastic. Has had good coaching and training and will continue to develop. The more I watched his film, the more I liked it. Great twitch coming off the edge, great COD, good hands, good physicality. True edge setter. Reminds me of former UVA/NFL standout Chris long in terms of straight line speed, motor, and COD. Disruptive force, who can play within a scheme. Want to track how big he gets, but he will definitely be strong and maximize abilities. Is currently 6'2 205, C/O 2030. Kid is strong and can press linemen off him. Type of kid with signature highlights. Looks like a FBS talent as an 8th grader. Already has early offer from Syracuse, and named Under Armor All American.

https://twitter.com/Adamhavunen/status/1978171182357627208

Chance is looking like a D1 defensive tackle IMO. He is very quick/explosive out of stance. He has very good hands for his age, and he has been training with a respected Dline trainer. He gets to the football and can wreak havoc. The last two games I have seen him play, he has showcased elite AA. He has taken multiple carries at RB and taken over games. The strength of his legs, his contact balance, and his motor were all impressive. He showed himself to be a ATH, even though he'll be recruited at DT. Chances legs are like pistons and he broke multiple tackles on many runs. In the district championship, he had a pick 6 as well. His motor, effort, and energy are truly impressive on both sides of the ball. Straight DAWGG with two G's. Very coachable kid, calm personality. The type of player, who will get stronger as the game goes on. His quickness, ability to shed blocks, and LB pursuit skills make him a very interesting prospect. His ability to run the line and make TFL's could separate him in HS. US Army bowl AA. High character kid, good grades, absolutely 0 baggage. Checks boxes physically and mentally. MVP of Norfolk/Portsmouth championship. Has added 15-20 lbs in 2 months. All males in his family are solid 6'1.

Very good two way prospect. Shows great athleticism and fluidity. Believe natural build and instinct is for DT. Compact, has some girth, but also strong, and moves around well. Kid looks like he is built for shedding blocks and making TFLs. Shows good athleticism and motor in pursuit. Good contact power as well. Has that LB quality at DT, RBs could could get sick of this kid. Tackles with his pads, good knockback. Performed well at Under Armour Camp as 8th grader. Video of winning multiple 1v1 matchups at OT. He has good fundamentals at OT, kick steps, wide base, shows fluidity. Just don't think he will ultimately have OT length. He could get moved to OG in HS and he can pull, and is violent with blocks. At the end of the day, he's a versatile athlete who can be a two way player in HS. Believe he projects as FCS+ prospect on either side of the ball. He is not short, 6'0 as an eighth grader. His bro was 6'3 290, Uncle was 6'2 240. Uncle and Grandfather played at VMI. If he gets to 6'2, believe he will have a lot of options, likely FBS. A player worth betting on, even though still waiting to see how tall he gets. He has good trainers on both sides of the ball. Shows to be very coachable, and has advanced fundamentals for middle schooler. His fluidity, versatility, and athleticism will ultimately serve him well. Could very well be a two way player in HS. Just like him on defense, because he likes to hunt. He can wear RBs and O-linemen out. Solid athlete on both sides of the ball. 3.5 GPA.

RJ has emerged in recent weeks. He was most recently playing offensive tackle, which he looks far more comfortable at than DE. He is still mastering the fundamentals of the position. He is a long, fluid, athletic prospect at the OT position. His wingspan is great and projects very well in pass pro. He will be able to fend off an athletic DE. Once he knows how to kickstep, he can do a great job finessing a would be pass rusher. He will have the athleticism and size to be a left tackle at a high level. His aggression is starting to come, once he knows what his body is capable of, he will start to dominate more in run blocking. Once he gets lower and establishes leverage he will be able to drive players off the LOS consistently. He is a more cerebral kid, who will continue to make gradual progress as a prospect. He has good genetics, as his father is 6'5 300, and played football at VA Union. RJ plays basketball. He is long, fluid, can dribble, and penetrate as a player. His smoothness, fluidity, athleticism will translate well on the football field. With weight training and instruction, he can easily develop into an FBS OT prospect. He has a rare blend of skills that will translate at a high level. Look forward to tracking his progress, as an elite prospect. High level kid, who will get 1% better every day.

Fantastic talent. A true skill player, who is dynamic and effective in all three phases. Can line up multiple different ways on offense, very versatile in a scheme (RB, Slot, X). Can do it all and has a knack for scoring. Very Reggie Bush like. He is long, fluid, explosive, and has good vision. As his confidence gets built, he will become more dominant, once he knows what he's capable of. Has some combination of long speed and competitive speed. A strider, but with explosion, twitch, and flexibility. Shows great tracking and ball skills as a WR, adjusts to bad passes well. Shows great feet and COD in videos of drills, good stop and start. Has great COD, for a kid with long legs, which is a rare commodity. He is the cousin of Chargers WR Keandre Lambert-Smith. As he gets stronger, he will get better at running in traffic, as opposed to just outrunning kids in open space. Once the confidence sets in, you will really have an exceptional playmaker. The type of kid, who can win you a game in 2 or 3 plays. He can be great in screen plays, and will fit the Maury offense well, school he will likely attend. He is very KeAndre Lambertish, who attended Maury 5 years ago and was dynamic on screen plays. The ball skills, tracking, and ability to out run defenders, make him special. He is more finesse/speed than physicality, but I think that will level out more as he gets stronger and plays better competition. Plays defense too, lots of Ints, plays safety on film, and intercepts batted passes. Can also contest 1v1 at corner. A college coach could convert him to cover corner, but feel he's better suited on offensive side of the ball. Can be an electric All state level player in all 3 phases. P4 level kid, can be HS All American. Likely one of the most talented middle schoolers on east coast. His parents are 6'3 and 5'11.

Long, Fluid WR. A true X, who looks like he will grow. Arms are long for his body. Smooth strider as a runner. Type of runner who doesn't look fast but is. He creates separation from defender with stride. He looks like he will grow into something/has high upside. As a WR, attacks the football, snags it out of the sky. He goes up and gets it, and is more physical than his lanky stature. Everything about this kid is long, smooth, and gifted. Watched some youth film, even cross country film, makes me think he will project well into college. He has an AJ Green quality to him as a young player. He has great burst for a long strider, deceptively fast. Has a "head and shoulders" better than competition quality in middle and youth film. Needs to pack on weight to block, but will get separation with long arms. Feel like he's stronger than appearance and will be a good run blocker who finishes. Large hands, can be a good run blocker in space. Everything about him screams high level kid. Also plays safety. Through 3 games (8 rec, 205 yards, 5 TDs) on talented team. Great wingspan, parents are 5'8 and 6'4. Believe he can grow into FBS prospect.

Shifty kid, nice burst, great body control. Has very soft hands and good ball skills. Looks a step ahead of middle school competition. Reads and reacts well on both sides of the ball. Good competitive speed, has the jack rabbit quality, as he runs on the balls of his feet and is always a split second ahead. Definitely worth keeping an eye on. Showing college attributes as an 8th grader. Is also training with former 757 great Jeremy Gilchrist. Could see him as a WR (Slot) or CB, due to elite AA and movement. Watched him make an Int, where he high pointed the football, and broke across the field to make play. Everything about this kid looks fine tuned, controlled, and explosive. Could see him listed as an ATH as a HS prospect. His father is 5'10, mother is 5'5, so may project as a slot, X, or corner. Elite movement skills, can be a high level kid. Shows elite attributes and impressive highlights for a young player.
