Prep Redzone NJ Stock Up Showcase: Standouts

Prep Redzone, hosted their first Showcase in the North East Yesterday, with an event in Jackson Township New Jersey. Over 80 athletes were in attendance to show off their skills to college coaches and scouts. In this article, we take a look at guys who impressed me during the the Stock Up Showcase event. The DB, had a solid camp and was one of a few DB's to show up to the event. With a limited number of DB's, all eyes were on guys like Horner.   Horner had solid speed running a 4.8-40 Time, and was solid in drills. I like his footwork, and he did well with COD, and fluidity with his hips. I liked Horner, in 1v1 drills, as he did a good job matching up against solid WR competition.     Wojt was one of a few seniors in attendance for the showcase, and he did not disappoint. Wojt is listed as a TE, and with his size, standing at 6'1" 200-Pounds, I think he has a good frame for the position.   Wojt had solid speed for his size, clocking a 5.3 40-Time. Wojt had amazing strength, and he looked massive. As a pass catcher, he showed solid feet, and good route running. I like his hands, as he can make tough catches look easy. I did not get to see him block, but with his strength a physicality he can easily be a versatile playmaker for any team.     [player_tooltip player_id='1968931' first='Ian' last='Duong'] was a playmaker who caught my eyes. Duong was a the smallest player in attendance, yet still put on a show for the coaches and scouts.   Duong clocked an impressive 4.53 4-Time, which was the best of anyone on the field during the showcase. Duong is likely a WR, given his frame, and had a solid day as a pass catcher. Duong will need to have a growth spurt and fill into his frame if he wants to play at the next level, but the Freshman, did have an impressive camp.     Garrett was the top player from NY in attendance during the Showcase. He is a versatile ATH, who can play multiple positions, but based on his frame, I like him more as a DB.   Garrett had a solid day performance wise. As one of a few DB's, he got a ton of work in 1v1's. The FDR-Hyde Park prospect, had good footwork, and fluid hips throughout the day. I liked him in coverage, against some of the top WR's, and he is a player I am looking forward to watching continue to work reps in the next two seasons.     Salamone just missed the cut on the top QB performers during the showcase. He had a solid camp, and looking at the names at his position, it was hard to tell which QB's were the best.   Salamone, had a great day in 1v1 competition. His accuracy was impressive, as he hit multiple tricky throws throughout the showcase. The Junior, had solid mechanics, and his footwork through throws was impressive throughout the day.     Alsbrook was a major threat at WR during the camp. I like his frame, standing at 6'1" 175-Pounds, but he plays bigger, and uses a good mix of strength, and physicality.   Alsbrook, made some impressive catches during the showcase, and displayed solid hands. Alsbrook, had quit feet, and good fluidity, allowing him to make good changes to his direction. He was outstanding during 1v1's, and is a young WR to watch in the 2028 class.    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Prep Redzone NJ Stock Up Showcase MVP</h2>    [player_tooltip player_id='1514622' first='Nyzier' last='Matthews'] earned the MVP Honors in our first showcase in the Northeast. The 2026 WR, was one of a few Seniors in attendance, and he made his presence known.   Matthews should have offers, and looked bored throughout the showcase. He had amazing hands, and made excellent catches. He was a solid route runner, and had good footwork. Matthews, is a solid playmaker, standing at 6'3", and displays an outstanding build for a WR prospect.
