Salamone had a special connection with Nyzier at camp and frequently lined up for reps together. He’s got easy velocity and a smooth release. Ability to put the ball in some tight spots. He’s also got some room to grow on his frame. He’s got calm feet and a strong front plant foot. As a ’27, with more weight added and some more game reps and time he’s got a chance to be a really special player.

Salamone just missed the cut on the top QB performers during the showcase. He had a solid camp, and looking at the names at his position, it was hard to tell which QB’s were the best.

Salamone, had a great day in 1v1 competition. His accuracy was impressive, as he hit multiple tricky throws throughout the showcase. The Junior, had solid mechanics, and his footwork through throws was impressive throughout the day.

Anthony impressed all weekend with his quick release and ability to get the ball out fast, keeping the offense in rhythm and consistently moving the ball down the field. He showed a calm command of the game, reading defenses well and finding open windows with smart, decisive throws. One of his best moments came on Saturday morning when he dropped a perfectly placed deep ball to the outside—unfortunately, it was dropped, but the throw itself was a thing of beauty. His pocket awareness and ability to shift around to create throwing lanes stood out, making him a steady and reliable leader for his team’s offense.
