The PRZ NJ Overall MVP, a unanimous and easy choice. A senior who is still looking for a home to my knowledge. Unsure of his grades, yet he’s a productive two-way capable skill player who dominated competition back in November. A real 6’2, 165 pounds. Not a ton of clips to show off, yet the Brick Memorial senior was too seasoned a route-runner and too experienced in the nuances of the wideout position to be dealt any resistence via opposing DBs at this one, especially underclassmen DBs. Here’s to hoping this young man finds a home at the next level. His talent is undeniable.

was the best prospect in attendance. Matthews was, physically, a man amongst boys. Technique-wise, he ran all his routes with low, outstanding pad level through all phases of them. When either cutting and breaking off the stem of his routes, Matthews sank his hips and directionally was sharp. Toward the end of the event I caught him practicing acrobatic sideline catches with one hand.

Nyzier won MVP at the camp-for good reason. He was clearly the best player who attended. He had the best broad jump of the day at 9’9.5, and his explosion was on full display in ones. He’s got great acceleration off the line of scrimmage, strong hands, and he’s elite in and out of breaks. A very fluid athlete that’s going to give D1 defensive backs fits in the future.

earned the MVP Honors in our first showcase in the Northeast. The 2026 WR, was one of a few Seniors in attendance, and he made his presence known.
Matthews should have offers, and looked bored throughout the showcase. He had amazing hands, and made excellent catches. He was a solid route runner, and had good footwork. Matthews, is a solid playmaker, standing at 6’3″, and displays an outstanding build for a WR prospect.

that has size, speed, and the ability to make some moves. Matthews’ speed is on display due to the fact that he seems to outrun his quarterback’s arm, often times having to work back to the ball or slow down. When his quarterback does hit him in stride, we see that this 6’1″ receiver can effectively high point the ball and appears to exclusively use his hands when catching the ball. Matthews’ open field skills are very strong as well, as he is able to create space for himself in 1on1 situations; moreover, he is difficult to bring down to the ground in such situations and seems to always make the first man miss. This translates to the return game, where he is weaponized by Brick Memorial as well. Lastly, Matthews’s sharps are naturally and inherently sharp.

Nyzeir Matthews from Brick Memorial is primed for a breakout senior campaign. While he may not hold a Division I offer just yet, the film and physical tools suggest it’s only a matter of time. Matthews is a versatile receiver who lines up both in the slot and on the outside, and consistently wins downfield with his speed and route running. He’s also surprisingly elusive after the catch for his size, showing wiggle in space and the ability to finish plays. Coming off a season where he tied for second in New Jersey with 13 receiving touchdowns, Matthews enters 2025-26 as a strong candidate to lead the state in that category with even more volume coming his way.
