Beehive Buzz Live: Viewmont at Weber

This will be an exciting game with two prolific offenses and exciting playmakers on both sides of the ball for both teams. The two teams are in a must win before region play commences. Let's dive in to some key players.   Viewmont    Jack has done a great job on the season and the offense has been moving well all season. He has good arm talent and will lead his receivers open and will buy additional time by navigating the pocket. He is best as a rhythmic passer where he can slice and dice an opposing defenses. Weber has some good defensive backs, so it'll be fun to watch the two oppose one another.     Benji might be a key players on offense to help keep time of possession and to move the chains. He's a three down back that shows good vision and lateral quickness to make defenders miss. He shows good speed and is good in open space, he's a complete three-down back who is a threat as a receiver. His dynamic play will be needed for Viewmont on offense.     Jayson is a big plays receiver who has filled the void of the production left from the room last year. He does well in creating separation and getting open. Once he has the ball, he shows good creativity and will pick up chunk yards after the catch. It's possible, Weber shades coverage his side to minimize the big play potential. If he can be a playmaker with safety help on his side, it'll be a long day for the Weber secondary.     Clegg has been a two-way player this year and has done well being the second option when he gets reps. He can play the boundary, but is best as a slot receiver, where he can get a free release. He's been a key contributor as a defensive back where he shows good speed and hip fluidity. If he can be effective on both sides of the ball, it'll help Viewmont in this key matchup.     Cooper is an excellent athlete and has been a two way player this year. His primary position will be as an EDGE rusher. He's quick off the line, is a good mover and showcases good physicality. He's tough to be left one-on-one throughout the night and will need to be chipped and schemed for. He's an excellent prospect.     Cash has stepped up huge as a defensive back this year and showcases good speed with excellent hip fluidity and lateral quickness. He has good instincts, makes a play on the ball, and does well sticking to receivers. He's an excellent athlete and has found ways to make plays all year.     Ed has done a terrific job this year. He's been an active backer that can slide into an EDGE rusher role if needed. He is quick off the line, does well in shedding his blocks, and is a player with good movement patterns. He's been a tremendous asset thus far.     Kole has done a good job this year as a defensive back. He'll be needed to help limit the big plays in the passing game against Weber.     Seely might be the key player to the gameplay on defense. He has the size and the quickness to keep up with Weber's best player and he won't be a mismatch covering a running back. He is a player that moves well, has good physicality and has good cover skills. If Viewmont is to shut down Weber, he might be the key player.     Carter is a signal caller with a great ceiling. He has good arm talent, ball placement is good, and he is a player that will stress a defense and take deep shots. He moves well and navigates the pocket. He can move the chains with his legs. He does well with off platform throws and faces a hungry Viewmont defense.     Dyson is the best player on Weber. Having a chance to see him live at the Weber State camp this summer, he has exceptional lateral quickness and is a player with good vision and gets to top speed within strides. He will run between the tackles, and he does well getting to the second level and finding space and getting to the edge. His speed and ability to make defenders miss in a phone booth, makes him a deadly player with the ball in his hands. He's a complete three-down back with soft hands and can be deployed as a weapon.     Creed is a player that is dependable and does well in creating latest separation and displaying his number to his quarterback. He has good size and does well in contested catch situations. He has strong hands and is a player that will be leaned on in the passing game.     Brock has been the key receiver when they need a completion. He does well in the short to intermediate routes. He's a player that showcases good hands and someone that does well to move the chains. He can work inside or out.     Reese has done well with the transfer and has been a key two way player for Weber. He has good overall movement and has a good skillset. He shows good hands and is a physical player. His contributions on defense has been important in allowing the other defenders to play their natural positions.     Bracken has done well this year as a defensive back and showing good instincts and minimizing big plays from developing. He does well in making a play on the ball and is a defensive back that shows good anticipation.     Cade has been a big part of the defense and he is an active backer who does well in not getting bogged down by traffic and finds ways to make a play. He shows good instincts, and his level of play will be counted on in this big time matchup.     Kelton has been tremendous this season and has been the best pass rusher on the team. He is quick off the line, shows good quickness and has a good burst. He does well with his leverage and will get his lineman off balanced and he has the play strength and closing speed to finish off a play and get to the ball carrier.
