Brock has been great this season defensively for Weber. He’s helped fill some gaps that were created with departures. He has good lateral quickness and displays good hip sink. He’s been an effective defensive back this year.

Dean will be tasked to take on a bigger role as there’s a lot of vacated targets left behind. Dean has good footwork, moves well, and is strong at the catch point. Dean will have a lot on his shoulders as he looks to lead the WR room with a bunch of new faces trying to replicate last year’s room and Dean will be the head of that room.

Dean is an exciting two-way player and a field-stretching receiver who utilizes his speed to stack corners which allows him to win vertically and is a big play threat. Dean has an array of release packages that allows him to win. He showcases good ball tracking and creativity after the catch. Dean is deadly with a free release and would make an ideal stretch slot but no problems working as a boundary receiver. He is a twitchy athlete and can work short routes where he can gain additional yards with the ball in his hands. Defensively, Dean is a ball-hawking cornerback who showcases great anticipation, quickly deciphers plays, and will jump off his intended man to make a play on the ball. He is a physical corner for his size, will play press coverage to jam a receiver, and isn’t afraid to do the dirty work and help out in run support. Dean projects to be a big-time playmaking receiver who should get regional attention during the recruiting process.
