Reese is a fun, two-way player. Offensively he is a useful target and does a good job of finding the soft spot in the zone and flashing his numbers for his signal caller. On defense, as a backer, he picked up that side of the ball very fast and was a fun player to watch on that side of the ball, he has the instincts for a player who is new to that side of the ball. He is a fun player who could get some D1 looks, but has the floor of JUCO and D2 prospect. Good upside for a player who is garnering more and more playing time.

Reese has been an effective two-way player this year, and the transfer hasn’t affected him negatively. Offensively, he shows all the traits you want in a modern-day tight end: good athleticism, can be moved around, and transitions well upfield. Defensively, that’s been the big surprise; he’s been an active defender and in a hybrid backer role. He shows good instincts and does well in planting his back foot and making a play on the ball; there are plenty of traits to like.

Cantwell is a mismatch. The tight end can be lined up in-line or detached from the line. Cantwell moves well, is strong at the catch point, and has good athletic movement patterns. He should have another exceptional season, and he is a player who is too fast for backers and too strong for defensive backs. He should get looks in recruiting.

Cantwell is an athletic player who moves well and has a high upside. At this stage, he is best as a big slot and being detached from the line, where he can get a free release and get vertical. Cantwell has strong hands and good ball-tracking skills. He attacks the ball and showcases good speed. With additional weight gain, he’ll be a more well-rounded and complete player for the position. His frame should allow him to add on 15-20 lbs without limiting his skill set and athleticism.
