Cash is making his impact as a defensive back, but he’s a player that I’ve always preferred at Quarterback. He got some wildcat reps on the evening, and he showed great burst and lateral explosiveness. He has a good arm and is a signal caller who isn’t afraid to let it rip. His threat on the ground and using his legs make him an excellent prospect as a signal caller. He is a good athlete and is making the most of his athleticism by finding ways to get on the field this year. He’s an excellent athlete.

Cash has stepped up huge as a defensive back this year and showcases good speed with excellent hip fluidity and lateral quickness. He has good instincts, makes a play on the ball, and does well sticking to receivers. He’s an excellent athlete and has found ways to make plays all year.

Hawkins is an exciting athlete, and he’ll find a way on the field this year. I view him as a dual-threat quarterback with a bright future, but he is such an athlete that he’ll find his way on the field as a slot corner and is too good of an athlete to keep off the field. Bright future for him. 2026 is his year.

During the 7’s event, Hawkins made several player as a defensive back, he has excellent closing speed, has good hip fluidity and closes ground well. Hawkins disrupted the passing window several times and created havoc on opposing receivers. He’s an athletic playmaker and while he stood out as a defensive back, I prefer him as a quarterback. He’s a great athlete.

Hawkins is an exceptional athlete and a talented playmaker. He has exceptional speed with a reported 4.5 in the 40 and has been utilized as an RPO signal caller. Hawkins is a deadly runner with good vision and elusiveness. He shows good lateral quickness and makes defenders miss in the open field. As a passer, he has good throwing mechanics and processes quickly and gets the ball out quickly to his top read and throws accurately and throws with good ball placement. Hawkins is a two way player and does play deep safety and his speed is further evident as he covers a lot of ground in minimal strides. As part of the 2028 class, his ceiling is tremendous and an exceptional athlete in the state and those raw traits makes him an exciting prospect for potential recruiting circuits.
