PRZVA Team Previews: Loudoun Sports Academy

<p><strong>Last years Result- This is the first season for the newly formed Loudon Sports Academy. They will place in the East Coast Power Conference, with opponents ranging from Mount Zion Prep to Saint James Academy.</strong></p>   <p>Head Coach Obie Woods left Virginia Academy last winter and now he makes his way across the county to build Loudoun Sports Academy. This will be their first year of football and their schedule does them no favors. Still if you know Coach Woods, this man is a winner and a motivator, he will get plenty of talent across the DMV that want to play for him. Playing for Rock Ridge last season, Ferrell is explosive and has exceptional hands. A student athlete too with a 3.63 GPA, he could be their vertical threat. He too should start to get notice from colleges by seasons end. Williams is 6'1 and 170 lbs., good size and speed for the next level too. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">After starting a handful of games at West Springfield [player_tooltip player_id='1297629' first='Brian' last='Walrath'] has transferred in with a chance to be their starting quarterback. The Timberwolves sure seem to have talent in this position group, I like this fit for Walrath Jr., who played well in limited action. He has a big league arm, and makes good decisions in the pocket. Playing for Unity Reed as a freshman Maldon had 81 tackles and 4 sacks! Really impressive numbers and he should fit in well in the Timberwolves back 7. Very quick off the snap, if you do not get a jam on him he is going to beat you out of the gate. Earning honorable mention honors as a junior in a tough conference Grayson can play. He flies off the snap and can dominate one versus one matchups. He stands at 6'0 and 175 to begin his junior season. A good long stride at corner, the Twolves defense may be the backbone of this team with all these transfers.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">We have been fan of top 100 ranked 2026 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1192166' first='Rashad' last='Fortune'] for a couple years. The Navy Commit played for Coach Woods the last two years at VAA and is a high motor powerhouse off the edge of their defense. We're truly excited about every phase of the game—offense, defense, and special teams—because the guys have been putting in serious work, excelling at camps, and competing at a high level. The chemistry has been nothing short of phenomenal, especially considering this group has only been together for less than two months. There's a genuine family atmosphere here at LSA, and it shows in the way the team supports and pushes each other. Expectations are high—not just to compete, but to raise our standard every day. These young men are grinding, improving, and striving to reach the next level. At LSA, we're not just building a football team—we're building machines on and off the field. </em> </p>   <p></p>
