Millikan may have a revamped passing offense this year with the addition of quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='212212' first='Ashton' last='Pannell'], a transfer from Loyola. He may be the best quarterback Millikan has had in awhile and he looked excellent at the Battle at the Beach passing tournament. Colorado State commit [player_tooltip player_id='1182931' first='Jude' last='Nelson'] is a big tight end who will be heavily featured along with [player_tooltip player_id='1197385' first='Jay' last='Williams'] and Landon Ross. [player_tooltip player_id='401212' first='Aisa' last='Taeleifi'] is a linebacker who could lead the defense in tackles.

Foothill lost its last six games of the season in 2024. [player_tooltip player_id='1110893' first='Braxton' last='Bonnett'], who has eight lower level offers, led the team in receiving last year and is back. [player_tooltip player_id='1222875' first='Micah' last='Farrar'] is another receiver to keep an eye on and [player_tooltip player_id='1416960' first='Dmitry' last='Shalin'] is a lineman to watch.

SPANISH SPRINGS (NV) VS. SIMI VALLEY

These two teams met last year and Simi Valley won 33-13 in Nevada. Simi Valley won the Marmonte League title last year and reached the Division 3 championship game. The Pioneers have some returning starters on defense with the big name being Sacramento State commit [player_tooltip player_id='1686088' first='Izak' last='Simpson'] who had 102 tackles, 20 for a loss and 16 sacks last year. They have two quality junior linebackers in Denver Smith and [player_tooltip player_id='1718333' first='Brody' last='Samon'] and Gavin Hammond racks up tackles at safety. Simi Valley hadn't decided on a starting quarterback as of last week, but sophomore Conner Petrov, and juniors [player_tooltip player_id='1650248' first='James' last='Thompson'] and Dawson Armstrong could get playing time. Jayden Clarke is a three-year starter at receiver.

[player_tooltip player_id='890039' first='Tyson' last='McNeil'] is back at quarterback for Spanish Springs after throwing 20 touchdowns and just three interceptions last season. [player_tooltip player_id='1579298' first='Cooper' last='Milligan'] is back at running back and [player_tooltip player_id='1343857' first='Brady' last='Hummel'] is the leading receiver who has nine offers.

LOS ALAMITOS VS. INGLEWOOD

This is the marquee matchup of the week with two high-level playoff teams. Los Alamitos will feature new quarterback Colin Creason who the coaching staff is very high on. [player_tooltip player_id='1598356' first='Lenny' last='Ibarra'] is one of the top running backs in Orange County and speedy [player_tooltip player_id='1205414' first='Kamden' last='Tillis'] may get some touches out of the backfield as well. [player_tooltip player_id='1686058' first='Beckham' last='Hofland'] is a tight end who rose up the recruiting ranks this offseason and [player_tooltip player_id='1588186' first='Braiden' last='McKenna'] is an All-County candidate on the line.

Jackson Renger is an edge rusher who will be among the county leaders in sacks and [player_tooltip player_id='1660469' first='Hunter' last='Eligon'] added serious muscle in the offseason. He can also get after the quarterback and those two are tough to scheme against.
