Bonnett announced his commitment to Western Colorado in early February. The #6-WR out of Foothill was one of Nevada’s most productive wideouts over the past two seasons racking up over 2,000 receiving yards and 20 TDs on 100+ catches. Bonnett is a highly underrated prospect and chose WCU over a handful of D-II and D-III offers.

Bonnett added offers from Hampden-Sydney College and Western Colorado this month. The Western Colorado offer marks the second D-II offer for the Foothill wideout this offseason after picking up his first from Minot St. in May. He proved to be one of the most talented and skilled wideouts in his class with his breakout junior season in the fall (41 recs., 909 yards, 6 TDs). Bonnett should be on the FCS radar with his first pair of D-II offers in hand.

Bonnett had one of the most productive statlines of the weekend totaling 208 yards and a TD on just 4 catches in Foothill’s 28-12 win over Silverado. The 6’/175 WR’s most impressive play came on a deep post where he attacked the ball and went over-the-top of two defenders in traffic. Bonnett should continue to find ample opportunities as one of the top playmakers for Foothill’s offense.
