Dobbs picked up his first D-I offer from Stetson in early December. The 6’2″/180 FS out of Foothill was Nevada’s biggest stock riser among the defensive backs with his team-leading 99 total tackles (63 solo) and 9 INTs this season. He’s a long, rangy defender that can cover the width of the field and brings great instincts and ball skills to the secondary. Look for Dobbs to add more offers ahead of February’s Signing Day.

Dobbs rose over a hundred spots in the latest 2026 rankings update after his breakout senior season in the Foothill secondary. He packs high upside in his frame and physical tools at 6’2″/180 along with proven production on the ball (9 INTs, 63 solo tackles in 2025). He’s a long, rangy FS that can play from a variety of alignments with the instincts and physicality he brings to the secondary. He’s a strong tackler in space, can get out to the sidelines as a middle-field safety, and consistently puts himself in the right spots with his awareness and play recognition. Dobbs picked up his first D-I offer from Stetson at the start of December and should continue to draw FCS interest with his film, production, and physical skillset.

Dobbs was a new addition to the 2026 NV rankings over the summer with the physical tools and flashes he had shown to that point and has proven himself to be one of the most underrated defensive backs in the state with his play on the field this season. The 6’2″/180 FS ranks second in the state in interceptions with 9 on the season and a team-leading 96 tackles (60 solo). He’s a long, rangy player in coverage that can use his eyes and instincts to consistently put himself in good spots, anticipate passing lanes, and make plays on the ball outside the hash as a middle-field safety. Dobbs is the clear leader for the Foothill defense and should be in the mix to generate significant recruiting interest over the coming months.

Dobbs ranks second in the state with 8 INTs and leads the Foothill defense in tackles with 83 total (54 solo) so far in his breakout senior season. The 6’2″/180 senior safety has been one of the biggest defensive stock risers in Nevada this season with his production on the ball and overall playmaking ability he’s put on film through nine games. He’s a lengthy, fluid athlete that can read/play QB eyes as a zone defender, anticipates throws and route concepts to put himself in position to make plays, and offers great range as a two-deep safety. Dobbs projects as an FCS/D-II prospect with the tools and skillset he possesses and should see his recruiting stock rise in a major way over the coming months.
