All across the Charlotte Metro Area in Week 1, there were some impressive performances, and we're going to highlight them here with a bit of commentary tacked on as well for select players. Please make sure you are sharing your performances with me via Twitter/X @pepman704, especially if you are in the Charlotte Metro Area, to be considered for inclusion! We will have this series all year long on Prep Redzone North Carolina, and we will recognize everyone – including linemen! Stats and film will help a TON when being evaluated for inclusion! All right, let's get started.

[player_tooltip player_id='974827' first='LJ' last='Porter'] - Hough - 11 Tackles, 1 Sack, 2 Tackles For Loss in victory over South Pointe - LJ played an excellent game, showing the ability to play through traffic well at the linebacker spot as well as rush the passer with nice speed and acceleration.

[player_tooltip player_id='1170182' first='Elijah' last='Littlejohn'] - West Charlotte - 10 Tackles, 1 Sack, 2 Tackles versus Grimsley - The Penn State Commit showed why he's such a big-time college-level recruit in this one, with excellent burst off the edge on his sack, and some good effort to get in on a number of plays in the running game, especially.

[player_tooltip player_id='987160' first='Damaad' last='Lewis'] - Myers Park - Sack, Multiple Tackles For Loss, Dominant Play in victory over JM Robinson - As I have said previously, any school is going to be happy with what they get in Lewis. Infinite also had some nice blocks offensively at the Tight End position.

[player_tooltip player_id='1610603' first='Tre' last='Geathers'] - Providence Day - 10 Tackles & An Interception in victory over Roman Catholic (PA) - Providence Day has gone out and really challenged themselves in the non-conference schedule, as Roman Catholic was ranked as the #5 team in Pennsylvania. Tre showed his trademark versatility, coming up and supporting in the running game, while also providing some excellent pass coverage, evidenced by a big interception he picked up to help seal the victory.

[player_tooltip player_id='1165700' first='Manny' last='Lewis'] - Marvin Ridge - 3 Sacks in victory over Cox Mill, strong overall play on the defensive line - Manny is a very strong player on the defensive line who can also win with an excellent getoff on his pass rush, and he showed that numerous times on his highlight film from this one.
