Kell is loaded with P4 and FBS prospects. On top of that, almost all of their guys are multi-sport participants. College coaches were lined outside the door this offseason, a trend that will continue going forward for the Longhorns.

2026 Standouts

[player_tooltip player_id='401475' first='Brayden' last='Rouse'] has transformed over the last year into not just one of the best players in the state, but one of the top players in the country. He is only continuing to rise and will push for 5-star status. Rouse is a giant in the second-level and moves like a deer, making the field look small and closing space to the ball with just a few strides. When in coverage, he plays like a safety, and is impossible to bend the ball around. If he needs to slide down and play EDGE or flip around and play some TE, he will do that too. He has the bend, speed, hands, and instincts to do everything at a high level. Rouse has room to easily get to 225+, which will only make his game more well-rounded. I don't typically project to the NFL, but it's hard not to do so with [player_tooltip player_id='401475' first='Brayden' last='Rouse'] and the traits he brings to the table.

[player_tooltip player_id='1550033' first='Michael' last='Domanik'] is a physical tone-setter in the middle of the defense. He plays very much like an "old-school" LB, doing his damage mostly from C gap to C gap and aggressively firing downhill to strike ball carriers. He is rocked up at 225 with elite play strength as is. He doesn't waste any time trying to dance around traffic, and instead runs straight into it and explodes through contact, resulting in violent collisions that can knock ball carriers off their feet. He rallies hard and makes it a mission to get his hat to the ball, something that will help him stay on the field for every down. Domanik is a striker with a high floor. You could plug him into an FBS team right now and he would be a competitive player. He has several FBS offers and will surely add more before his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='283870' first='Kaleb' last='Narcisse'] is coming off a breakout fall and has several D1 offers under his belt as he heads into his senior season. When it comes to pure arm strength, [player_tooltip player_id='283870' first='Kaleb' last='Narcisse'] is on par if not better than some QBs with stars next to their name. He consistently proves capable of ripping the ball into hard-to-reach areas and hole-shot spots. He is a tough QB who hangs back and eats contact when he lets the ball go. I wouldn't consider him a burner with his legs, but he is more than capable of extending plays and being a body to account for in the run game. He is also stout, so can be tough to bring down. Narcisse is a stout, durable QB who plays with toughness and has enough juice in his arm to make every throw on the field. There are plenty of traits to be excited about here, which is why D1 teams are in the mix.

[player_tooltip player_id='1600605' first='Robert' last='Tyson'] is one of several Kell DBs with FBS and P4 offers under his belt. Tyson is versatile and has occupied several different spots in the secondary, but projects most naturally to safety. He is a long strider with good speed, gifting him plenty of range. He is a thinner prospect with plenty of physical maturity left in the tank, but he still delivers some pop at the point of attack. He gets low and launches his shoulder into the core of ball carriers. He flashes some patience as a tackler, making subtle adjustments to put himself in a better spot to tackle and mirror ball carriers. Tyson will improve as a striker as he adds more weight. He is long and floats to the football. There is some serious upside here as his development continues.Tyson is a verified track athlete who participated in the 400M and Triple Jump in 2024.

[player_tooltip player_id='1201787' first='Jalen' last='Williams'] is a breakout player this past fall who is due a rankings boost in the next update. 6'0 160, but plays even bigger. He isn't afraid to jab receivers at the line and is pesky throughout route process. He is athletic enough to change directions and stick around receivers at release points, but will make his money in coverage by getting his hands on people. He is a search-and-destroy tackler, keeping his eyes up, base set, and taking good angles to the football. He hits well for his size and doesn't have an issue bringing people to the ground. He projects as a corner, but if he can't stick there his tackling ability and experience playing several different spots raises his floor.

I was on [player_tooltip player_id='1638165' first='Jowell' last='Combay'] well before he received his first P4 offer, and now he has several high-major offers to his name. Verified T/F athlete who long jumped 20' 04'' this spring. Prototype safety build. 6'2 190 with long arms and a lean, yet cut frame. Soft on his feet. Effortless COD. Impressive instincts. His footwork and discipline are elite, helping him match receivers at the top of their routes and run the route for them. More than capable as a tackler, although it's his fluidity and instincts in coverage that set the basis of intrigue around him. At the point of attack, Combay works through the hands of receivers. Reps on offense shine even more light on how smooth he is. Combay is one of the smoothest DB operators in the country and is fast emerging as a can't-miss prospect.

Tony Forney is yet another Kell DB with P4 offers under his belt. He is the Swiss army knife of the secondary. 6'1 180 with long arms. Thinner lower body and a long strider in space. Uses his length to tie up receivers and make life difficult at the catch point. Forney is an excellent tackler who can strike, but is also patient and settles down to a set base. Uses his length to engulf ball carriers. Well-developed prospect with the mass and physicality to play in the box and the length and athleticism to play in coverage. Forney is a T/F athlete who participates in the triple jump. Projects as a safety, but can wear a lot of hats.

[player_tooltip player_id='401549' first='Nathan' last='Agyemang'] is a gigantic WR prospect who is inching closer to out-growing WR and becoming a TE prospect. Originally a basketball athlete. Elite leaping ability paired with his massive frame makes it almost impossible to go up with him. He is still developing as a pass catcher, but did a much better job as a junior getting his hands through contact and catching the ball away from his body. Not a technician as a route runner, but fast enough for his size to adequately eliminate cushion. Agyemang is an ideal jump-ball threat given his rocked-up frame and leaping ability. If he ends up sliding to TE, he will be more of a big slot, settling down and boxing out in soft spots for easy grabs. Agyemang is how they're supposed to look.

Lewandowski is an IOL projection with a pair of D1 offers under his belt heading into spring ball. Lacks prototype size but compensates in other ways. Explosive athlete who is naturally the low man. Solid hand placement around the chest. Keeps his feet shuffling to stay in front of defenders and handle counter-moves. He is most impressive as a pulling guard. He is explosive out of his stance, has the speed and hustle to get down the field, and accelerates hard to contact. Impact-style blocker at the point of attack who stuns defenders off their base. He is at his best when he can get going downhill and get isolated 1 on 1 in space with a smaller defender, but he is still strong enough at the POA to hold his own in a power scheme, especially when he gets in a D1 weight room. Has a T/F background as a thrower.

Undersized, but uber-explosive and athletic DL prospect who tacked on some D1 offers this offseason, including a P4 offer from Wake Forest. Explosive off the snap, consistently being the first hat to penetrate and arrive at the ball carrier in the backfield. Has some nuance as a block shedder, getting blockers off-platform and working his arms to free himself. He is an energetic pursuer of the football and has the awareness to know where the ball is, even if he loses it with his eyes. Jean's blend of speed, power, and twitch allows him to compensate for being on the smaller side. Jean is a search-and-destroy defender, lining up and down the line to search for a mismatch and take advantage of it.

Shelton holds several FBS offers and strikes me as a guy who generates some late-bloomer P4 buzz. Traits are not lacking here. He is a long, thin 6'3 200 with room to pack on a lot of mass. He makes his way to the ball in just a few strides. Was trusted enough athletically to rush off the edge and line up across from receivers in the slot. Keeps his feet active, hands engaged, and plays with effort when matched up against blockers. Will benefit from added weight to avoid getting knocked off the ball. He is still developing as a tackler, but fortunately, his length raises his margin for error as a pursuer. While raw, Shelton is one of the more traitsy second-level defenders in GA and will have FBS coaches intrigued with his upside.

Davis is another front-line prospect with D1 offers and has produced for several years. Spends most of his time standing up on the edge, but also has experience with his hand in the dirt at different spots. He is used primarily as an edge setter, both with power and patience. He brings plenty of POA play strength, anchoring down and proving hard to move for blockers. Strong frame helps him will off blocks. Greets blockers with pop in his pads. I would consider him more of a power threat than a speed threat, although he consistently finds a way to free himself and hawk the football down. Davis is strong, patient, and has a hot motor.

2027 Standouts

Gipson is an elite RB prospect with dozens of P4 offers under his belt. Clocked a PR of 11.14 in the 100M this spring, an eye-popping time hovering around 210 pounds. Handles the bell-cow role brilliantly, getting tough yards between the tackles and demanding extra attention from tacklers to bring him down. He drives the pile, but he is explosive and fast enough to create his own yards. He has even produced as a receiver. He demands attention from all 11 on defense, or else he will have his way with the ball in his hands. Gipson has developed far beyond his years and has been physically dominant since he was a freshman. He is a candidate to contribute and stay on the field every down in his college career.

Grant missed the majority of his sophomore season due to injury, but he did enough in his small sample size to build a little buzz and tack on 2 FBS offers. 5'10 with a lean 170 pounds. Smooth, sudden athlete who navigates through traffic well. Ability to break tackles and stay on his feet through contact is impressive for his size. He is a smaller target for defenders and runs hard. Grant is developing some twitch, but he is a glider in the open field who moves around the field like he's on skates. Grant is a perfect compliment to Gipson and I am interested to see the role he plays as a fully healthy junior. I love the way he runs and am bullish on his upside.

[player_tooltip player_id='673339' first='Brock' last='Burrus'] is a massive WR prospect, now up to 6'5 195. Hasn't fully broken onto the varsity scene yet, but has P4 offers under his belt regardless. Athletically, Burrus has one of the best multi-sport backgrounds in the state. He is a nationally ranked outfielder by several credible baseball services. In the reps we see, he is light on his feet and can build vertical separation against DBs. I like the footwork at release points. He will need to prove it under the lights, but Burrus has the tools to explode soon both on the field and on the recruiting trail.

[player_tooltip player_id='942130' first='Kamoni' last='Adams'] has several high-profile P4 offers under his belt and is next in line behind an elite set of 2026 Kell DBs. He is impressive in his own right. He PR'd at 11.09 in the 100M this spring, improving his time from 11.8 last spring. Clean, quick feet in his backpedal. Smooth transitions both downhill and when turning to run. Does a good job pressing receivers against the sidelines, forcing a perfect throw from QBs. Diagnoses well at the top of his routes and survives releases. He is difficult to separate against and sticks on the hip of receivers. Has only gotten faster since the season ended. Trusted to be left all alone on an island. Offensive reps add context to how dynamic of an athlete he is. Adams is already a high-profile prospect who is only going to get better.

Other Names Mentioned

'26 LB Jaziah Massey-Owens (5'11 200)

'26 IOL Davis Ornelas (6'3 285)

'26 LB Jacob Carroll (5;11 205)

'27 OT Caleb Wise (6'4 280)

'27 WR Nehemiah Watson (5'10 165)

Kell is loaded with P4 and FBS prospects. On top of that, almost all of their guys are multi-sport participants. College coaches were lined outside the door this offseason, a trend that will continue going forward for the Longhorns.
