Robert Tyson Robert Tyson 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB Kell | 2026 State GA is one of several Kell DBs with FBS and P4 offers under his belt. Tyson is versatile and has occupied several different spots in the secondary, but projects most naturally to safety. He is a long strider with good speed, gifting him plenty of range. He is a thinner prospect with plenty of physical maturity left in the tank, but he still delivers some pop at the point of attack. He gets low and launches his shoulder into the core of ball carriers. He flashes some patience as a tackler, making subtle adjustments to put himself in a better spot to tackle and mirror ball carriers. Tyson will improve as a striker as he adds more weight. He is long and floats to the football. There is some serious upside here as his development continues.Tyson is a verified track athlete who participated in the 400M and Triple Jump in 2024.

Another Cobb County defensive back on the rise, Tyson is a sure-tackling, hard-hitting defender who can cover ground in the secondary while giving the Kell defense a weapon close to the line of scrimmage. He’s an active, disruptive player who plays with confidence both against the pass and in the run game. He wraps up consistently and brings a decent frame to the table as well. He’s earned recent offers from South Florida and Memphis with more offers likely to come his way over the next several months. Look for him to be added to the next 2026 rankings this spring.
