is one of the better players on that roster as he continues to show his dominance in many different sets. He continues to be a flex player who can play both inside and outside as a wide receiver, which is something that colleges will be looking for. Burrus is just one of many weapons that this program has, but it is safe to say that he is likely going to be the most dominant wide receiver on the roster in 2026. Make sure you keep an eye on Burrus, because many could argue that there isn’t a single player in the state with more upside.

plays for one of the more intriguing teams when it comes to the state of Georgia, as he is playing for a team that does a lot of running the ball, but when they pass, a guy like Burrus will be a priority. He has all the talent in the world and is by far one of the better players in the state at the position. I believe that he will finish inside the top-10 rankings in the state at the wide receiver position before the season comes to an end. He is by far one of the better wideouts thanks to his rare combination of speed and size.
A big-body receiver from Cobb County bound for a giant junior season, Burrus is a lean, physical wideout with strong hands who knows how to make a big catch in traffic. He uses his frame well against smaller defenders, plays the sideline well, and is a willing blocker in the run game. He’s got the size, talent, and potential to have a true breakout junior season for the Longhorns this fall. He already holds some Power Four offers and could see more come his way next off-season. He’s currently ranked in the latest update as the No. 4 wide receiver and 49 overall prospect in the state for the 2027 class.

is a massive WR prospect, now up to 6’5 195. Hasn’t fully broken onto the varsity scene yet, but has P4 offers under his belt regardless. Athletically, Burrus has one of the best multi-sport backgrounds in the state. He is a nationally ranked outfielder by several credible baseball services. In the reps we see, he is light on his feet and can build vertical separation against DBs. I like the footwork at release points. He will need to prove it under the lights, but Burrus has the tools to explode soon both on the field and on the recruiting trail.
