He also made an impact as a punt returner, using his speed and athleticism to make big plays. He also played as a runner-back. As a running back, he showed a special burst and speed. The other impact Murphy made was as an outside linebacker. His ability to set the edge and make plays near the line of scrimmage is impressive. He has a great feel as an outside linebacker at reading the offense plays. He also is a good tackler, especially in the open field. He plays as a quarterback but is a good enough athlete to play multiple-skill positions. As a quarterback, he is a left-hander and shows a good arm. He throws with good anticipation and understands how to throw into tight coverage. Bennett has a chance to start next year at quarterback and make a big impact on Montour's team. Sometimes, in coverage, he would get beat, but he showed the speed to catch up and make a play on the ball. Then, when the ball is thrown in his direction, he is a ball hawk and usually gets his hands on the ball. He also shows a good ability to tackle in the open field.
