Sand Springs quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='449993' first='Easton' last='Webb'] is the first of several quarterbacks on this breakdown that got our attention during their freshman seasons. Webb earned the QB1 role as a freshman and hasn't let go of it since. But the 2024 season saw Webb go from a solid quarterback with a lot of potential to arguably the best quarterback in the state. Following the 2024 season, we named Webb our Most Improved Player following a season where his production would absolutely explode and in some cases, it doubled what he had done in the previous two seasons combined. Webb made a significant leap as a quarterback and college coaches certainly are taking notice. Webb, who has been an OSU baseball commit since his freshman year is starting to get more offers on the gridiron.

For us, Webb and Tuttle quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='473754' first='Cruz' last='Campbell'] might as well be 1A and 1B and you can flip a coin on who is who at this point. Campbell made a very similar jump during his junior season, when he became one of the top quarterbacks in the state and arguably the top guy in Class 4A. After two seasons of growing pains at Southmoore, Campbell moved to Tuttle and he immediately took off. Campbell really caught our attention around this time last year. He looked like he had gotten bigger and taller and the passing was starting to reach another level. The battle for the top spot in the state's 2026 quarterback class is going to be a fun one to watch moving forward. Campbell definitely isn't going to back down from the challenge and is looking to finish in the top spot.

Locust Grove quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='428958' first='Titan' last='Hix'] continues to be arguably the most underrated prospect in the state's 2026 class and we have no idea why that is. Hix has been an absolute monster since his freshman season at Hennessey and he's continued to put up monster numbers during his last two seasons at Locust Grove. Hix is an absolute tank in the backfield at the quarterback position and is just as comfortable throwing the ball as he is running the ball. He's a true dual-threat weapon but make no mistake about it, he's not just an athlete lining up at the quarterback position. One D2 college coach watched Hix in a throwing session and just shook his head and said Hix was probably not a player they could land. He's an absolute stud and should be recruited at a higher level.

Cascia Hall quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1083187' first='Barrett' last='Mullen'] is another 2026 signal caller that has been on our radar for a while now. The summer before his sophomore season, Cascia Hall coach Joe Medina said the Commandos would start to throw it around more than ever before and the personnel had a lot to do with that decision. Mullen is that key part of the personnel because he can absolutely throw it around and has been lighting up opposing defenses over the last two seasons. There's no doubt that Mullen has some legitimate threats on the outside at the wide receiver position but make no mistake, he's the engine that makes this Cascia Hall offense go. He's one of the more accurate quarterbacks in Oklahoma and has been able to put up some monster passing numbers.

Millwood quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='434614' first='CJ' last='Turnbull'] is in a very similar conversation as Webb and Campbell. All three have started since they were freshmen and all three have turned into absolute stars at the position. Just like with Webb and Campbell, Turnbull seemingly took that next step during his junior season. He's always been a really good player for the Falcons and is a big reason why they've played for the state championship three years in a row now. But Turnbull has become a really good quarterback and we could see it on film and in person during the 2024 season. Talking with Millwood's coaches after one of the bigger regular season games, they said that it's all finally clicked for Turnbull and his smooth ability to operate the offense is not something that goes unnoticed.

Choctaw quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='402379' first='Landon' last='Gatson'] helped the Yellowjackets to their first state championship in six decades. Gatson has been another 2026 signal caller on our radar for a while now but he's had to be patient and wait for his moment to strike. During his sophomore season, Gatson was limited basically the entire year because of an injury. Last season, Gatson would see the field plenty but he wasn't QB1. Looking ahead to the 2025 season, this could be the year that Gatson absolutely explodes. Every time we've watched him in person, you see all of the tools are there for him to be one of the best quarterbacks in the state. He just has to go out and do it on Friday night when all eyes are on him and they certainly will be when this fall rolls around.

Bixby quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='284114' first='Carson' last='Kirby'] helped keep the Spartan dynasty going in 2024 with their seventh consecutive state championship and the tenth in the last eleven seasons. Kirby has one of the strongest arms in the state and as we saw in 2024, he is much more than just a typical pocket passer. That was his main role in 2023 when he debuted as QB1 of the Spartans. In 2024, we saw Kirby elevate his game and become more of a threat to run the ball, even though his bread and butter was still to pick defenses apart with his arm. As we start to look ahead to the 2025 season, Kirby could end up taking another step forward in his progression as a quarterback. He'll be a third year starter for the Spartans and he'll be the unquestioned leader of that unit.

Collinsville quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='402384' first='Skyler' last='Moorman'] is a 2026 signal caller that we started to buy stock in around this time last year. We've gotten a chance to watch him up close in camp and 7v7 settings and each time, he has always looked the part, with a strong arm and very consistent play. However, the 2024 season had to be frustrating for Moorman as he was dealing with nagging injuries and didn't have a full season to go to work with a pretty talented group of skill position players with the Cardinals. But Moorman appears to be back to 100 percent and his recruitment is starting to pick up some momentum. We'll be catching him in person very soon at various 7v7 tournaments and we're looking forward to seeing him back on the field when the pads come on this fall.
