With the season concluded, we've updated our rankings. The 2026 class is on the clock as most colleges have completed their 2025 classes and moved onto the rising seniors. Here, we'll break down several 2026 quarterbacks who impressed us enough this season to move up in our Quarter 1 rankings update.

[player_tooltip player_id='473833' first='Brilison' last='McCullers'] is quickly rising up our rankings thanks to his consistency game in and game out. He's not as much of a home run hitter as some of the other guys on this list, but he averaged over five yards a carry in all but two games this season. He has great patience and vision. More than you'd expect from a back his size, if he needs a yard, he usually gets it.

Not only did Wingate make a huge jump in our rankings, but he switched from an athlete designation to a pure running back in our system. I view that as a huge positive, because it means that we view him as a guy who is good enough as a runner to get recruited to that position. He added weight and maintained speed this season, resulting in ridiculous numbers: Wingate scored a touchdown in all 14 games, and ran for over 200 yards as often as he was held under 100 yards.

Davis is always a fun evaluation for several reasons. He plays in a unique offense and gets to do a lot of different things you don't often see other backs. He's a big dude with an upright running style. It works for him and it helps his vision and allows him to stay closer to full speed after breaking tackles. Maintaining speed after contact is key because he breaks a lot of tackles and rarely goes down on first contact.

Hill is a very different back than a lot of our other stock-risers in this update, as he's a power back with good speed. At the next level, that power and break-tackle ability should translate and he already has great size. From a pure athleticism standpoint, Hill projects as a priority-FCS prospect or even a Group of Five back. He's still fine-tuning his game, as he often wins by bouncing inside runs rather than patiently waiting for a hole. He has the speed to do that, and as he continues to develop the other parts of his game, we think he could have a late recruiting rise.

Krider is a bit undersized, but he's extremely difficult to square up. Defenders in the open field rarely get to wrap him up, meaning they have to rely on arm tackles, which he's shown the strength to break. He has great acceleration, even at the snap, and he's able to start and stop at will. He's slippery, and that led to a strong junior year, worthy of a move up our rankings.

James plays both sides of the ball, but we think his college future is as a running back. He's a taller back with the frame to add more weight and when he does, he's going to be a force at the next level. He has great vision and the ability to follow his blockers. He's quick to change direction and eats up yards quickly. He went over 1,000 yards this season, a testament to his improvement.

Rivest went from one total touch as a sophomore to nearly 1,000 yards from scrimmage as a junior. He's explosive, with a great vertical and broad jump to highlight . That shows up on film as well as he's able to stick his foot in the ground and get north and south. A great kick returner, Rivest could find his way onto the field early in college due to his versatility and ability to contribute in multiple phases of the game.
