Expect him to keep grinding between the tackles—he’ll have plenty of chances to make his impact felt in this championship game.

McCullers is a different type of runner than a lot of the other guys on this list and I really like that. More of a slasher, he’s not going to put up as many explosive runs as some of the other guys, but he’s also rarely getting dragged down for a minimal gain. He can consistently rack up six or seven yards a touch and he’s one of the best receivers out of the backfield in the state.

McCullers’ acceleration might be the best of his many plus-traits, as he’s able to get up to full speed by the time he hits the second and third levels. That allows him to run through tackles from linebackers and safeties. That and his contact balance and speed give him big-play potential and he flashed that this year at Millbrook.

Brilison McCullers Brilison McCullers 5'10" | 190 lbs | RB Millbrook | 2026 State NC is quickly rising up our rankings thanks to his consistency game in and game out. He’s not as much of a home run hitter as some of the other guys on this list, but he averaged over five yards a carry in all but two games this season. He has great patience and vision. More than you’d expect from a back his size, if he needs a yard, he usually gets it.

A transfer from Sanderson, McCullers has already put up excellent numbers through two years. Now, his work in the weight room is really showing as he looks noticably bigger heading into the 2024 season. McCullers has good vision and burstt once he hits the hole, plus the breakaway speed to take long runs all the way to the end zone.
