Heading down south, we saw Millbrook North Carolina Prospect Bryson Gray. The 6’2″ 180-Pound QB, was another prospect on the slimmer side during the Reigonal. Gray was another name who finished with a score of 20. I saw Gray display good ball placement on his slant routes, and I like his footwork on his comeback routes which saw him make good throws.

After splitting time as a sophomore, Gray won the job as a junior and led Millbrook to an 8A State Championship berth while throwing for over 2,500 yards. He commands the offense well, and after another offseason, I think we’ll see him a bit more aggressive to push the ball down the field. He’s grown in confidence over the last two seasons, and that has elevated his game, from how quickly he can read defenses to the accuracy he’s shown.

Gray split time at quarterback with another guy who also makes this top 10 list. With great size, the ball jumps out of Gray’s hand when he lets it fly. I thought he was a bit hesitant at times last season to trust his elite arm talent. As he gets more comfortable with letting the ball rip, he’s going to be in the position to have a huge season.
