The playoffs continued on Friday night and teams continued down the road to Edmond. Every Sunday this season, we've been recapping the week that was by putting the spotlight on the top performers from across the state. This week, we're featuring 20 different players from across the state that performed at an incredibly high level this week.

[player_tooltip player_id='434307' first='Barrett' last='Travis'] - Senior Running Back - Heritage Hall

Heritage Hall senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='434307' first='Barrett' last='Travis'] has been a player that's been on this breakdown probably more times than he hasn't. Travis has emerged as one of the very best running backs in Oklahoma this season and his play has elevated with the playoffs starting. In a 43-21 win over Holland Hall, Travis might have had the best game of his career. He would carry the ball 341 times for nearly 350 yards and four touchdowns. He also had an 89-yard kick return for his fifth touchdown on the night. Travis eclipsed 2,000 yards in the win and they now shift their focus to a semifinal showdown with Lincoln Christian.

[player_tooltip player_id='215570' first='Brady' last='Mcadoo'] - Senior Wide Receiver - Tuttle

Just like Travis, Tuttle senior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='215570' first='Brady' last='Mcadoo'] is another player that has been on this breakdown the majority of weeks this season. And we've said it before but we'll say it again, he's one of the best players in Oklahoma this season. The Tuttle standout had another unstoppable performance as the Tigers beat Hilldale 49-7 on Friday night. Mcadoo would catch five passes for 122 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also had a rushing touchdown and performed well as Tuttle's punter, when they had to punt. Tuttle now has the week off before facing district rival Bethany in the semifinals.

[player_tooltip player_id='294265' first='Cale' last='Marley'] - Senior Quarterback - Rejoice Christian

There will be a new state champion in Class A-1 after Rejoice Christian took down two-time champion Fairview in a 34-7 victory. The Eagles were once again led by senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='294265' first='Cale' last='Marley'] after he threw for nearly 250 yards and three touchdowns on 13-17 passing. Fairview lost their star quarterback during the game and Rejoice knows all about that with Marley. The Rejoice signal caller has battled injury issues in the last two seasons but he's playing at a high level right now and he has his team one win away from a trip to Edmond. They play a Christian Heritage team in the semifinals that they beat in September.

[player_tooltip player_id='284114' first='Carson' last='Kirby'] - Junior Quarterback - Bixby

After falling in week ten, Bixby had a week off to get right and they certainly came out right in their 59-14 quarterfinal win over Norman North on Friday night. Junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='284114' first='Carson' last='Kirby'] was once again throwing it all over the yard and had a big performance in the win. Kirby threw for nearly 300 yards and five touchdowns on 19-28 passing. He did the majority of his damage through the air this week and has also been a steady presence with the running game this fall. The two-time 6A-1 champions now get ready for a semifinal match-up with Edmond Memorial on Friday night in Claremore.

[player_tooltip player_id='473891' first='Creed' last='Barrett'] - Freshman Quarterback - Washington

Washington beat Kiefer 48-14 and has now won 42 in a row and are one win away from another state championship game. Coming into this season, we knew that freshman quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='473891' first='Creed' last='Barrett'] had a chance to be a special player. We didn't see this season coming. The freshman standout has become a star, breaking the school's single season passing record in his first year with just shy of 3,000 yards. In the win, he threw for 233 yards and three touchdowns on 13-17 passing. He has 34 touchdowns with just one interception this season. Barrett has been an absolute beast this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='209872' first='David' last='McComb'] - Senior Quarterback - Edmond Memorial

For the first time in over a decade, Edmond Memorial was victorious in the playoffs and for the first time since Edmond split into a multi-school district, the Bulldogs are headed to the semifinals. Senior quarterback and Kansas commit [player_tooltip player_id='209872' first='David' last='McComb'] led the Bulldogs to a 49-20 victory over Norman Friday night. He would run for three touchdowns and he also had a passing touchdown in the win. McComb and the Bulldogs are playing at an incredibly high level and they'll need to keep that up this week. Edmond Memorial will head to Claremore where they have a semifinal clash with two-time 6A-1 champion Bixby Friday night.

[player_tooltip player_id='449993' first='Easton' last='Webb'] - Junior Quarterback - Sand Springs

Sand Springs moved on to the semifinals with a 44-14 victory over Piedmont on Friday night. Junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='449993' first='Easton' last='Webb'] continued his monster junior season with a dominant performance in the win over the Wildcats. Webb would throw for just over 350 yards and five touchdowns on 22-33 passing. And that sets up a semifinal match-up with all the potential in the world for a high-scoring clash. The Sandites will square off with Choctaw and both offenses have plenty of firepower. Webb has elevated his game to a completely new level this season and he's truly been one of the top junior quarterbacks in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='353415' first='Elijah' last='Thomas'] - Senior Wide Receiver - Checotah

Checotah senior and Oklahoma commit [player_tooltip player_id='353415' first='Elijah' last='Thomas'] reminded everyone (again) why he's arguably the best football player in Oklahoma on Friday night. Thomas and the Wildcats trailed Bristow on the road with less than a minute to play. He then proceeded to take a short screen pass 75-yards to the house. It was his fourth touchdown on the night and it also put him over 200 receiving yards in the win. Thomas has helped guide the Wildcats to an unpredictable semifinal appearance and they'll face Sulphur on Friday. No matter where Thomas is on the field, he's a threat to take it to the house.

[player_tooltip player_id='595670' first='John' last='Mark Roller'] - Senior Quarterback - Regent Prep

In their first season of playing 11-man football, Regent Prep is one win away from playing for a state championship. The Rams went on the road and got a very exciting 57-54 victory over traditional powerhouse Ringling. The Rams jumped out to a big lead and would have to score with less than a minute left to punch their ticket to the semifinals. Regent was once again led by senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='595670' first='John' last='Mark Roller'] and he was outstanding. He threw for over 450 yards and five touchdowns, including the game winner. He also ran for over 70 yards and three touchdowns in the win. Now, they play top-ranked Woodland next week.

[player_tooltip player_id='482118' first='Kaden' last='Longman'] - Junior Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Newcastle

It was one of the more exciting games of the week as Newcastle took down Pryor 38-37. There were definitely multiple players that deserve recognition for outstanding performances from this one but we're going with junior wide receiver and defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='482118' first='Kaden' last='Longman'] after the impact he had on both sides of the ball. Longman would finish the night with six catches for over 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns. But it was his interception late in the fourth quarter that helped Newcastle advance to the 5A semifinals. The Racers were a 4A team that got bumped up to 5A in April and are now one win away from Edmond.

Kaeden Goodman - Senior Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Metro Christian

Metro Christian remained undefeated and a team to look out for in Class 2A-1 after they beat Jones 27-21 on Friday night. The Patriots had a dominant showing on the defensive side of the ball, finishing the night with six interceptions on the night. Senior Kaeden Goodman had an unbelievable showing, finishing with four interceptions in the win. Goodman also had eight tackles and produced on offense with five catches for nearly 40 yards in the win. Now, Goodman and the Patriots will shift their focus to a monumental semifinal showdown with a Washington team that was won two straight titles and 42 straight games.

[player_tooltip player_id='402378' first='KD' last='Jones'] - Junior Running Back - Jenks

Jenks made quite the statement on Friday night as they beat rival Union 42-7 to advance to the 6A-1 semifinals. Junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='402378' first='KD' last='Jones'] had another memorable playoff performance against the rival Redhawks. Jones would finish the night with just over 200 yards and four touchdowns on 22 carries. He also had four catches for nearly 50 yards. Jones was also an absolute star in their playoff win over Union last season. Jones and the Trojans now move on to face an Owasso team that they lost to back in week one. They already took care of one team that they lost to in the regular season and now they get another.

[player_tooltip player_id='572029' first='Keilan' last='Robinson'] - Junior Athlete - Hooker

Top-ranked Hooker is moving on to the semifinals after beating Pocola 46-30 on Friday night. Robinson would do a little bit of everything for the Bulldogs as they look to return to Edmond and contend for the state title. Robinson, who was filling in at quarterback would threw for 172 yards and three touchdowns on 9-14 passing. He also added nearly 50 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Defensively, Robinson had seven tackles and an interception from the secondary. Robinson is one of the best athletes that continues to fly under the radar. They are now one win away from the title game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1292096' first='Kylan' last='Schultheis'] - Senior Wide Receiver - Lincoln Christian

Defending champion and top-ranked Lincoln Christian rolled on to another semifinal appearance after beating Pauls Valley 49-7 on Friday night. It was another balanced offensive performance from the Bulldogs and one where we could put the spotlight on several players but senior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1292096' first='Kylan' last='Schultheis'] gets the nod this week. Schultheis would finish the night with nearly ten catches for over 150 yards and two touchdowns in the win. That victory now sets up a semifinal showdown with Heritage Hall in a rematch of last year's 3A title game and a rematch of a week one win for the Bulldogs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1524935' first='Landen' last='Griffith'] - Sophomore Quarterback - Talihina

Talihina continues to be one of the best stories in Oklahoma high school football this season. In 2022, Talihina forfeited the season because of low numbers. Now, they are one win away from a trip to Edmond following a 36-26 win over Texhoma. Sophomore quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1524935' first='Landen' last='Griffith'] continues to be a breakout star for the Golden Tigers this year. Griffith would throw for 176 yards and two touchdowns. He also added over 100 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. He did have two interceptions but those were his first on the season. Now, Talihina moves on to the semifinals, where they'll face Thomas next week.

[player_tooltip player_id='1569774' first='Maddax' last='Mobly'] - Junior Running Back - Sulphur

Sulphur rolled to a 53-21 victory over Idabel on Friday night. Junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1569774' first='Maddax' last='Mobly'] had a dominant performance on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Mobly ran for just under 200 yards and five touchdowns on 18 carries. Defensively, Mobly finished the night with ten tackles against an Idabel offense that had some serious firepower. Mobly is one part of a Sulphur team that feels like an absolute machine this season. They are mowing down every team in their way. They now get ready for a semifinal match-up with Checotah on Friday and they have one of the best players in the state in Thomas.

[player_tooltip player_id='476091' first='Mayor' last='Morgan'] - Junior Running Back - Choctaw

Choctaw is starting to feel like an inevitable state championship contender because the Yellowjackets have been absolutely rolling on the offensive side of the ball for the last two months. This week, the offense was humming and the defense pitched a shutout, beating Sapulpa 52-0. Junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='476091' first='Mayor' last='Morgan'] continued his monster breakout season with a little over 150 total yards and a touchdown in the win. We knew that Choctaw's offense had talent and Morgan has been a breakout player for them this fall. They now get ready for a semifinal showdown with Sand Springs this week.

[player_tooltip player_id='1099360' first='Shayden' last='Green'] - Senior Running Back - Stillwater

Stillwater's offense continues to fire on all cylinders and the run game was outstanding as they beat Putnam City North 49-14 on Friday night. Senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1099360' first='Shayden' last='Green'] has really come on in the last month and he had a solid performance in the win over the Panthers. Green would run for over 100 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries. The Pioneers are becoming more and more dangerous on that side of the ball as the balanced production keeps improving. They'll look to keep that momentum going this week when they square off with Muskogee in a rematch of last year's 6A-2 state title game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1100459' first='Trenton' last='Edwards'] - Senior Running Back - Wagoner

Wagoner shut out Clinton on Friday night so it was difficult not picking someone from the Wagoner defense for this breakdown. But this game was a slugfest early on and it took the Bulldogs a little bit to get going but once they did, senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1100459' first='Trenton' last='Edwards'] had a big night in the run game and as a receiver out of the backfield. Edwards would finish the night with 15 touches and he totaled well over 150 yards and a touchdown in the win. The Bulldogs finished the game firing on all cylinders and they'll need to keep that momentum next week in the semifinals when they face top-ranked Elgin.

[player_tooltip player_id='360157' first='Xzavier' last='Thompson'] - Senior Wide Receiver - Millwood

Millwood marched on to the semifinal round after beating Chandler 22-7 on Friday night. The Falcons are hungry to make it back to the state championship game and finish the job after settling for the silver ball in 2022 and 2023. Senior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='360157' first='Xzavier' last='Thompson'] continues to be one of the more electric but underrated wide receivers in Oklahoma. In the win over the Lions, Thompson would catch four passes for just under 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He helped the Falcons punch their ticket to the semifinals and he'll be one of the top players to watch in that game against Marlow.
