After a strong sophomore campaign in 2022, Marley would have a season-ending injury early on in his junior season. Despite that, Marley is still one of the more dynamic players to watch in the state’s 2025 class. Whether he’s lining up at quarterback or wide receiver on offense, safety on defense or in special teams, Marley provides a scoring threat every time he’s on the field. The Rejoice Christian standout is on our short list of players that we’re fired up to see get back to 100 percent. He’s a valuable player wherever he lines up and belongs at the next level.

So we don’t have any new information to go off of when it comes to evaluating Marley as a prospect but he is still one of the better prospects in the class. Despite missing this fall, Marley is still going to be a name to watch moving forward in this class. Marley was slated to be Rejoice Christian’s starting quarterback this season but he has also shown the ability to play wide receiver on offense and then turn around start for the Eagles at safety on defense. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see what Marley could do with a full season as QB1 after dominating in the second half of last season.

Rejoice Christian junior standout Cale Marley Cale Marley 5'9" | 170 lbs | ATH Rejoice Christian | 2025 State OK is one of the more dynamic players in Class 2A and he showed why in their season opener against Cashion. They were dominant from start to finish and Marley would throw for nearly 200 yards and three touchdowns on 8-9 passing. He also added two carries for 80 yards and both of them went for rushing touchdowns. And he turned around and finished with five tackles and an interception on defense. Rejoice will host Cascia Hall on Friday night and in this match-up last season, we saw Rejoice quarterback Chance Wilson as a one-man wrecking crew for the Eagles. We think that Marley could certainly replicate that production this week. Marley showed flashes of what he can be as a playmaker last season when Wilson was out with an injury. And he could not be stopped as Rejoice rolled to a 59-0 win over Cashion in week zero.

We mentioned earlier that Rejoice had a silver lining with their star quarterback going down for half of the season. That silver lining was the emergence of 2025 quarterback Cale Marley Cale Marley 5'9" | 170 lbs | ATH Rejoice Christian | 2025 State OK as he moved into that role and absolutely excelled. He would throw for ten touchdowns and then added 15 touchdowns on the ground. He had several games where he put up numbers that you only see on video games. And Marley wasn’t just a standout on offense. He turned around and finished with over 70 tackles and a handful of sacks and interceptions. We’re very curious to see what kind of numbers Marley is going to put up on offense with a whole season to start. As a true dual-threat quarterback, we could see him flirting with 1,500 passing yards and 1,500 rushing yards.

When Rejoice Christian standout Cale Marley Cale Marley 5'9" | 170 lbs | ATH Rejoice Christian | 2025 State OK takes the field this fall, he’ll primarily be known as a quarterback but he’s going to be one of the more versatile athletes in Class 2A this fall. Marley played half of the 2022 season as a wide receiver and defensive back. But when Chance Wilson went down with an injury, Marley became a dual-threat quarterback that put up some monster stats at quarterback. Marley is a really strong football prospect and he’s a player that is going to put up some serious numbers this fall. Marley saw his recruitment begin to get momentum this offseason as Tulsa offered and several other schools started showing interest. We are looking forward to seeing what Marley can do with a full season at quarterback and that’s not even getting into what Marley can do at safety on defense.

It was a good news, bad news kind of season for Rejoice Christian in 2022. The good news was they got to have their sophomore standout Cale Marley Cale Marley 5'9" | 170 lbs | ATH Rejoice Christian | 2025 State OK get some meaningful football at quarterback, where he’ll be playing this fall. But the bad news was they lost their star quarterback Chance Wilson Chance Wilson 6'3" | 185 lbs | QB Rejoice Christian | 2023 State OK for the second half of the regular season. Marley will be lining up at quarterback for the Eagles this fall but he is one of the best overall athletes int he class and he’s proven it already in just two seasons. On offense, he’s a dynamic weapon as we saw last year when he was at quarterback, accounting for over 200 yards and four touchdowns passing along with over 300 yards and five touchdowns on the ground. He’s also just as dangerous on defense and even in special teams.
