This is one of the best weekly recaps on the offensive side of the ball that we have had this season. We have 11 athletes in this week's article highlighting athletes from the Class of 2025- 2027. We have mismatches out wide and in the backfield. We have workhorse RBs, and a pair of steals at the QB position. We also shine the spotlight on an OL who is new to our radar and will debut as one of the best at his position when we update the Class of 2026 after the season. Dive in and make sure these athletes are on your recruiting boards!

Every time we cover Payton it seems like the junior RB is changing the game with only a handful of touches. In week 6 we saw him turn 8 total touches in 2 TDs while helping Hudson to a win over River Falls. Pingel is an explosive athlete that can be used to stretch the defense out laterally. Once he has them spread out the junior is able to carve them up with speed, vision, and physicality to break tackles and pick up the tough yards at the second level of the defense. It is impressive watching him stick his foot in the ground and show off how powerful his acceleration is as he can get to top speed within a couple steps. Payton is a big play waiting to happen when he is on the field.

Cal and Monona Grove had a tough battle last Friday night vs Sun Prairie East. Woerth was up to the challenge, providing his offense with some explosive plays. His long TD reception highlighted his speed and second gear to pull away in the open field. Cal flashed the natural hands to pluck the ball out of the air in stride or in traffic. The Monona Grove WR is a legitimate hidden gem. Check out the film linked below.

What a game for Caden as he helped Franklin to a 6-0 record on the season. The senior WR is a deep threat who is quickly making a name for himself this fall. His speed puts DBs in tough situations as he quickly eats up their cushion and leaves them such little time to react to his route breaks before starting to pull away from them. Caden is a natural at playing the ball in the air and easily reels it in with soft hands. The senior deep threat is an athlete to keep your eyes on as he is turning in a dominant season.

Sophomore WR [player_tooltip player_id='1620354' first='Charlie' last='Burke'] is becoming a bigger and bigger part of the River Falls offense as we go through this season. He delivered an impressive stat line while being utilized in the passing game and rushing attack. Charlie possesses effective speed to be utilized on jet sweeps or to get behind the defense on deep passes. The sophomore has strong ball skills, showing quick hands to snag the ball last second as well as doing a good job of finding and adjusting to the ball in the air deep downfield. Burke also possesses an explosive burst in his route breaks that helped open up plenty of separation in Week 6. I'm excited for Charlie's future development.

Yusif is a new name to our radars, and if he is new to yours then change that today. The massive junior guard is a force in the trenches. His massive frame comes with equally as impressive power. Power that delivers devastating punches from heavy hands and a lower body that is able to easily drive IDL out of the trenches and onto their backs. Yusif separates himself from the crowd even more with his quick feet. He gets out of his stance and instantly takes away any cushion from the defender then turns that momentum into power. The size, power, footwork, and other raw tools are very impressive to watch. Dive into the tape yourselves. I highly recommend it.

Week after week, Somerset's [player_tooltip player_id='685904' first='Kane' last='Donnelly'] has been putting up big numbers for the offense and defense. His work at QB is our focus in today's article. The dual threat QB shredded the Ellsworth defense for a big day on the ground while also keeping them honest with his arm. Watching through this week's highlights, it is clear that Kane is a big time playmaker. He has the arm to stretch the field. He has a powerful frame, highlighted by one of the passes he was able to get off while having a defender hanging all over him. The senior also runs very hard, moving the pile and dragging defenders downfield. Whether in the pocket, on the run, or while fighting off tackles, Kane is able to maintain his accuracy too. He is an accomplished QB and a very consistent one week to week. Don't sleep on this kid.

Senior RB Brad Jacobson is getting his highlights published from the season so far, and we had to take a look. The explosive senior was difficult to contain as he constantly attacked the edges of the defense. His speed allowed him to get outside of the contain defender with ease and then get upfield. Bradley also showed patience when attacking the outside gaps, letting blockers get to their spots then accelerating. Definitely give the senior RB a watch.

It is great seeing Grayson tearing it up on the field in his senior year. He has always been one of the top talents at the position, but now we are seeing the production show up on the field and in the W column for his team. In their Week 6 win Grayson put on a show. He let it rip downfield multiple times with his strong arm. The senior did a good job of looking off safeties and going from one option to the next if things weren't open. It takes poise to have that patience to work across the field with your eyes, and Grayson is doing that. The QB also showed that he could deliver the ball without getting his feet set because of his strong arm. Most importantly, Grayson is doing well with his ball placement and accuracy so that his man can and run or catch it while avoiding a big hit. Give one of the top QBs in the state a look.

The senior RB/ATH got through the front seven with excellent speed, giving LBs no time to fill gaps or close on him in the front seven. Hakow also flashed some field flipping speed to get down the sideline. Sawyer also relied on his vision behind the line to find those holes quickly so he could instantly accelerate after the handoff. Check out his impressive night.

People need to tune into the tape of senior RB Braden Tyler out of Janesville Craig. The 6' 195 lbs athlete just put himself on our radars with his stat line and tape from Week 6, and more eyes need to get on it. Braden has a big, strong frame and he uses it to be a force with his carries between the tackles. The senior will lower the shoulder or shrug off would be tacklers or drag defenders for extra yards. Rarely did he go down on the first hit in Week 6. The big man is clearly able to handle a large workload at his size. Braden also has some effective lateral burst to get himself in position to make someone miss or get himself into a more clear running lane. I'm really liking the well rounded game of the senior RB. Don't sleep on him.

What a week from the River Ridge senior athlete! Andrew averaged just short of 19 yards/carry in Week 6 on the way to a dominant win over Boscobel. Andrew plays the FB role in the River Ridge option attack and he excels in that situation. Nies runs downhill with a head of steam, taking the punch to the defense, running behind his pads, and pumping his legs until the defense finally swarms him to drag him down. Andrew's contact balance and ability to rip through arm tackles was on full display too as he piled up the yards after contact while wearing down the Boscobel defense. Nies capitalized on all his carries on the way to an elite stat line. Tap into the film of the hidden gem of as senior RB/LB prospect.
