This is a fun one! I spent time looking through the stats from 2025 and focused on the Class of 2028. Even as sophomores we saw several produce at a consistent and high rate for their high school varsity teams. Among that group there are several who I think are just getting started. I firmly believe that today's subjects in this article are going to blow away their 2025 numbers despite them being some of the best numbers among the Class of 2028 to this point. Get this dudes locked on your recruiting boards coaches because the show is about to start. Let's hit the tape, break it down, and look at their previous production.

Any college teams that utilize the fullback position in their offense, I got the guy for you. Monroe's Tristan Anderson is next up at the FB position. As just a sophomore, Tristan is a powerfully built 6'1" 220 lbs. A frame that is well equipped to handle the physicality of the position and dish out plenty of punishment. Punishment delivered as a lead blocker and as a ball carrier. As a ball carrier Tristan is a bull. He is going to run north-south. Get in his way and he is going to run over you. Try to drag him down from behind and prepare to get drug for several yards after contact. Then as a lead blocker he is going to drive LBs out of holes so quickly and violently. Monroe's offense is going to continue to run through him. So I am confident we will see Tristan come back in 2026 even bigger and stronger and ready to punish defenses more than he ever has. That is saying a lot because in 2025 he produced 176/1149/8 on the ground. Check him out!

Medford has been one of the state's better rushing attacks in recent years. The next man up to go through the Medford system and lead the way is 2028 RB Will Wojcik. As a sophomore Will went off for 110/722/5. That is just the tip of the iceberg that could be Will's 2026 season. Will is blessed with explosive acceleration. The type of acceleration that doesn't allow you to guess wrong as a defender. If you give him a step or an inch of space Will is going to go beat you through the hole and be into the secondary before you can fill the gap. That burst carries into this long speed that can also beat angles 40+ yards downfield. To further utilize that speed Medford also splits him out wide at WR. Will's athleticism allows you to be creative. Don't sleep on the northern WI standout athlete.

Now this might be a bit of a stretch compared to others in this list when it comes to predicting even more production than their previous year because LCL will be implementing a new QB1. That new QB is going to be well equipped with targets, though, with the 28/585/6 producing weapon out wide. That 21 yards/rec average gives you a glimpse into the type of big play weapon Parker is. Parker is quick off the line, finds and attacks the open space on the field, and is consistent at plucking the ball out of the air with reliable hands. Get the ball in his hands and watch how elusive Parker is too. From the lateral agility to the speed, acceleration, and ability to cut on a dime. LCL even got him carries on jet sweeps to further utilize how dangerous he is with the football. Get this kid on your radar. I'm predicting we see plenty of touches go to him.

Elkhorn is going to return one of the most dominant two-headed monsters to their backfield in 2026. Among the duo is 2028 [player_tooltip player_id='2112359' first='Daschel' last='Stallings'] who piled up 107 carries, 1,081 rushing yards, and 17 TDs. That equates to an elite 10.1 yards/carry. We are talking about a sophomore RB that is 6'2" 180 lbs and averaging a first down every time he touches the ball. If that isn't enough let's check the tape. Despite being such a long athlete, Daschel's balance and change of direction jump off the tape. He has surprising agility that leaves the defense over pursuing when he finds the cutback lane. In traffic Stallings flashes his contact balance and then the pull away speed in the open field. It is such an effective blend of size, balance, agility, elusivness, power and speed. This dude is a must know in the Class of 2028.

This is the year for the Kewaskum offense to really take off. They are led by a talented QB and that QB is equipped with an experienced receiving corps that includes the dynamic [player_tooltip player_id='1570922' first='Levi' last='Whitfield']. In 2025 Levi produced 24/534/3 out wide. The tape shows a sophomore WR that is very versatile. Speed to win vertically and force the defense to give help over the top. Ball skills to find, adjust, and attack the ball in the air. But then he also has the quick twitch agility and balance to run crisp routes underneath and quickly get open for his QB. Levi is showing that he can win at every level of the field. Check him out!

In 2025 Jonah led Wisconsin Lutheran to the playoffs while being the team's leading passer and rusher for the offense. The '28 QB is establishing himself as a dangerous athlete that defenses have to account for on every play. Last year Jonah finished with 686 passing yards, 10 TDs, 508 rushing yards, and 10 more rushing TDs. When this kid decides he is keeping it you better hope you have someone to either meet him in the hole or contain him on the edge because if Jonah gets the edge he has shown that he has that game breaking speed you don't see at the QB position very often. He does a really good job of reading the field and deciding when you keep it himself. As a passer he has shown to be a smart decision maker with only 2 INTs compared to the 10 TDs. The arm is developing too. The tape shows that he can push it downfield and be accurate on the move or from the pocket. If the arm can continue to catch up to the athleticism then Jonah is going to be one of the most dangerous athletes in the state.

This is an athlete that coaches from every level of college football should be checking out. A sophomore DE that is 6'4" 225 with 6'8" wingspan and coming off a season with 59 tackles, 12 TFLs, and 6.5 sacks. That length is on full display in his highlights as he does a great job getting hands on, maintaining separation, flashing a quick pass rush move to clear the OT's hands, and then the burst to get into the backfield. The violent power that Braeden has loaded into his frame is able to bull rush OL and/or set a strong edge against the run. The tools are there as is the high ceiling for what he could continue to develop into. Coaches, go to his twitter for his highlights. It is well worth it.

We end with a 2028 making noise in the 8 man league. Sam did work on offense and defense with 65/718/13 on the ground rushing and 82 tackles, 5 TFLs, 2 PBUs, 4 INTs and a pick six. On offense, Sam is a load at the RB position. At 6' 210 lbs the '28 is a problem to tackle. A low center of gravity and powerful running style usually takes the contact to the defense instead of the typical other way around. This is an RB where your defense better have 8 men pursuing to the football to ensure you get him down.
