Things are rolling heavy here in Wisconsin with the Class of 2027. So many offers are coming out and proving that this Class is in fact the most talented Class that we have seen in several years. Five have committed to the Badgers and several others hold FBS, FCS, D2, and D3 offers already. Even with all the attention and heavy recruitment there are a few athletes that I want to make sure don't slip under the radar. Just within our Top 40 players in the Class we have 9 athletes who are looking for their first offer. These are special talents. Just turn on the film and see. That is what we are going to do with this group today. Breakdown some tape and shine the spotlight on the athletes who should be apart of that next wave of offers.

The OL position in the Class of 2027 is elite. That is nothing new to this state, but even with those standards this group is special. So Sam holding a Top 10 slot among the position is just one example of my very high thoughts on his game.

The 6'8" 300 lbs junior possesses rare size and length for the OT position. That frame creates immense force in the trenches. Over and over you see examples of his upper body strength as he rag dolls DL. The real dominance shines in the run game where he can lock onto his man and instantly drive them off the line to help create that positive surge to reset the line of scrimmage several yards downfield. The big man has effective mobility too, but if we can see even more development there and in his lower body flexibility we will see that wave of recruitment come rushing in. Give the tape a watch.

The TE position is another position of strength and depth in this Class. That is shown in the rankings and this article itself. The athlete leading the way in terms of looking for his first football offer is the talented TE out of McFarland who is already being heavily pursued by the college basketball circuit. The 6'9" 220 lbs athlete is the perfect mismatch for the position. Too big and strong for a DB and too athletic for LBs. The big man is an easy target who can provide you with the 50/50 wins and redzone dominance. Also the versatility to line up all over the formation. I expect Eli to go basketball, but he is taking visits to football programs now that basketball season is finished. So check him out and get him on campus.

We have talked about Mac a few times over the last couple months and we are back to continue to pound the table for this talented athlete. It can't be understated how impressive it was to watch him switch to OL this season and become an All Conference level impact player. His quickness, power, and ability to understand leverage has made Mac such an effective run blocker. A trait that will shine at the TE position as well. He has the frame to dominate at the position at the next level too. Get this kid the ball in space and watch him work. I hope I can cross paths with him this summer to get another close look at him.

I have Jude classified as a WR, but the massive 2027 receiving threat has the door open to continue to grow and fill out that frame and become a mismatch of a receiving threat out wide. On tape you already see that ability to attack the ball at the highest point, smooth body control through his routes, and the strength to reel in the ball in traffic. The 2027 WR/TE also flashes that ability to find the ball and easily adjust to the flight of the ball. I'm really intrigued by Jude. Get him on campus this spring/summer.

Bryce is coming off a season ending injury that occurred after 4 games. That could be why we haven't seen a team extend an offer yet. But that time is coming. Bryce is such an explosive athlete. At DB you see the quick twitch agility and reactive athleticism that pairs with a strong closing burst so he can stick with any WR in the state and make plays on the football. On offense that body control and burst of acceleration have made him a dangerous route runner. That route running and speed have gotten Bryce open so consistently since he was a freshman on varsity. This kid has been doing it at the varsity level since 9th grade. Big things are ahead for him. Can't wait for things to start rolling for him.

When is comes to the traditional TE position Justin leads the way in the Class of 2027. The 6'4" 230 lbs junior TE established himself on varsity with the impact he provides in the run game. Justin is able to effectively pull across the formation and clear out LBs or DEs/edges from holes. You really see the fluidity and mobility in Justin's route running too. He is able to attack the middle of the field and run away from LBs in the short to intermediate passing game. Roy is on a path to being a guy who can play all three downs by the time he is an upperclassman at the next level. Check him out.

Noah was an impressive DL in 2025, and looks like he should be even better in 2026. He played at 250 lbs in 2025 and is currently listed at 265 lbs. That added size is going to make him even more stout in the trenches. I love the hand use that you see from play to play on his tape. Hands inside, power to create and maintain separation, and then the quickness to clear the OL and then burst into the backfield to get after the football. In the run game you see that he can also hold his ground and his gap pretty well at 250 lbs, so that extra 15 lbs or more will boost that too. Don't miss out on this big, versatile DL.

Next up we have one of the state's most disruptive athletes along the DL. Deangelo has put up video game numbers vs some of the best competition in this state. He may be undersized for the position, but that is right about where the weaknesses in his game stop. Clay is extremely explosive, and can play with such a low pad level that OL have fits trying to get hands on him. He plays with elite leverage and the power he can create pairs with that leverage to be able to shock a lot of OL as he drives them into the backfield. The 2027 DL is so impressive when it comes to his active hands too. The tools and traits he has built are extremely effective. Don't miss out.

With a recent transfer Nolan is actually the #2 QB in the WI Class of 2027 now. The D1 State Champion put together a great first year as starter where he showed off those college level attributes. The 6'2" 210 lbs junior has the frame for the next level, and when you roll the tape you see the arm talent that will translate as well. Nolan made it look easy attacking the deepest parts of the field and doing it with accuracy and touch. The '27 has such consistent mechanics from his feet to his throwing motion/releasae and is able to get the ball out quick. The '27 is putting in the off-season work too, so I'm excited to see him at camps and better than ever on Friday nights this fall.
