Jude is an intriguing weapon at the WR position. He checks in at 6’6″ 205 lbs and has a vast background on the hardwood court where he has learned to harness that size. That frame is built to dominate any time the ball is above the rim on the court or on the field. The 2027 has a great sense of body awareness, timing, and his strong hands are able to muscle the ball away from opponents. A mismatch like Jude is extremely hard to find. I can easily see him having a WR/TE role at the next level. That is if he chooses to play football at the next level. I’m excited to see what he does on the field this fall.

This pick was a surprise on Thursday night, but here in WI we have an excellent talent in WR1 Jude Siikarla Jude Siikarla 6'6" | 205 lbs | WR/TE Slinger | 2027 State WI . Jude brings an elite frame and massive catch radius to the field. He dominates every 50/50 ball scenario and is so talented at utilizing his immense frame to create separation and win at the catch point. This is a kid that can stretch the field too with that huge catch radius.

I have Jude classified as a WR, but the massive 2027 receiving threat has the door open to continue to grow and fill out that frame and become a mismatch of a receiving threat out wide. On tape you already see that ability to attack the ball at the highest point, smooth body control through his routes, and the strength to reel in the ball in traffic. The 2027 WR/TE also flashes that ability to find the ball and easily adjust to the flight of the ball. I’m really intrigued by Jude. Get him on campus this spring/summer.

You can see through these first handful of additions that there is some unreal size in the Class of 2027. It is at multiple positions too. With a frame like that the big man could also have a future at the TE position. In the end it doesn’t matter what he is labeled at, just make sure you get him on your team so you can line him up out wide and force CBs into nightmarish mismatches. Jude dominates in the redzone. Using his size, ball tracking skills, and great timing on his jumps there isn’t a CB who can compete with him at high pointing the ball. His strong hands ensure he is going to complete the catch through contact too. For being such a big athlete Jude separates himself further by maintaining fluidity in his movements off the line and through his routes. This kid is a serious mismatch. Watch the tape linked below.
