I would be shocked if Jordin didn't pan out at Toledo. Seriously, I think Jordin should've been a Power 4 prospect. Right now, Jordin can line up anywhere on the defensive line and dominate any O-Line on River Rouge's schedule. Having watched Jordin several times with and without pads, I can confidently say that Jordin is one of the most fundamentally sound D-Linemen I've ever seen. For one, Jordin has a consistent, explosive getoff, which is an area most defensive linemen struggle with. Another area of greatness is his hands. Jordin has the ability to quickly and violently punch, swipe, rip, (etc) while keeping his feet moving. This is someone who is reaching his High School ceiling, and I'd guarantee Jordin would be a B1G 10 prospect if his measurements were a tad better. Toledo has developed some great pros in the recent past, and Jordin could be next up!

Xavier is an excellent uncommitted Power 4 prospect who I fully expect to have his best season yet. Over the past couple of years, Xavier has shown great effort, motor, and a good understanding of pass rush. Using his elite size, Xavier is able to effortlessly shed most block attempts. Even against great offensive lines, Xavier has displayed good bend, violent hands, and an overall great understanding of pass rush. He is pretty light for the EDGE position, but I'm confident he'll put on some weight once he gets to college. This season, I'd love to see Xavier display an even better getoff, physicality, and motor. I'll see him Week 1 as King takes on Cleveland Heights- and I hope to see improvements to his already dominant skillset!

Last season, Northville hit their ceiling as a team, falling to Belleville in the postseason. A large reason why this team performed so well is because of the play and leadership of [player_tooltip player_id='265646' first='Drew' last='Rankin']. Early in Drew's high school career, he was a very hard-working prospect who honestly lacked the physical talent of many other prospects. Quickly, Drew improved his athleticism and all-around skillset. After training and competing against the best talent in Michigan, Drew had his breakout season last fall. It all began when he locked up a B1G 10 prospect during Week 1 and continued through his leadership and consistent play all season. This season, Drew and Northville have an opportunity to fly even higher. I fully expect Drew to get off to another hot start during Week 1 vs Lake Orion, and continue his success into a tough matchup vs. Brighton.

Danilo may have the highest upside of any Metro Detroit D-Lineman. A pure defensive tackle, Danilo wreaks havoc from the interior. Watch Danilo's highlight tape and you'll see what I'm talking about. Play after play, Danilo explodes out of his stance and overpowers the opposing offensive lineman. That said, he has one of the best bull rushes in the state, and he's someone that most O-Lines absolutely need to double-team. There are also moments where Danilo has great hands and flashes athleticism. He still needs to work on his hand-feet connection (using hands while still exploding forward) but that's something he'll undoubtedly develop at Western. Now, Danilo and DCC will be going up against several amazing opponents this season, and I fully expect Danilo to both improve and perform incredibly well.

It's so incredibly difficult to stand out as a Linebacker. Charles has not only stood out, but he's been able to earn offers from Michigan State, Rutgers, and others. Playing off-ball, Charles showcases incredible IQ, effort, and physicality. As for IQ, there are several plays where Charles knows what will happen before the snap. Most linebackers need to read and react, but Charles oftentimes skips the "read" portion and immediately attacks. In addition, Charles explodes out of his stance and does a great job at finishing his tackles. Any linebackers reading this- immediately watch Charles's tape. This is exactly how you're supposed to play as an off-ball linebacker, and I can't wait to see what Charles is able to accomplish this season and in college!
