The 2025 rankings have grown by 50 since our Spring Update as 200 of the best prospects in West Virginia are now represented on our site. Many prospects have seen their stock rise since the spring through college offers as they competed at college camps around the region and country. Here are the prospects who had the highest rises in our rankings and are seeing their stock increase since our last update.

Our highest stock riser since the spring rankings update by far was Hurricane OL [player_tooltip player_id='908607' first='Drake' last='Lanham'] who increased his ranking by 49 spots. Lanham has had a strong showing this off-season at various camps including our own Combine back in early May where he earned one of the OL Top Performer spots and the hard work is beginning to pay off. The 6'3 265 big man picked up his first D1 offer from in-state Marshall earlier this month as colleges in the region begin to take note of what Lanham has to offer. He made huge strides in his development from his sophomore to junior season, and we expect another jump going into his senior year. Lanham has done a great job getting bigger and stronger while maintaining his athleticism along the way which has put him on college radars before his senior season has begun. His quickness and footwork for an athlete his size impress and give him a great base to build on as he continues to fill out his frame and add the size needed to play at a high level in college.

We'll be keeping close tabs on him this season to watch for that next jump in his development, so don't be surprised if he is a stock riser again in the final rankings update after the season is over.

Shady Spring OL [player_tooltip player_id='952856' first='Colton' last='Henderson'] was a first-time rankings placer in our spring update, and he has exceeded our expectations of him this off-season. Henderson picked up his first five college offers since our last update from various D2 and NAIA programs as he's seen his stock skyrocket this summer. Henderson is a great example of the importance of getting out and being seen in person in front of college coaches at their prospect camps which has resulted in him having options for where he wants to go at the next level. From watching his camp clips on social media, Henderson's footwork on his kick steps looks vastly improved from his junior highlight tape and the biggest area we wanted to see him develop in. His 6'4 frame will continue to fill out over the next few years whose length gives him an advantage over other OL prospects.

Henderson has the potential to climb even higher in the rankings if he puts it all together during his senior season and applies the camp success he's had to the football field.

Oak Hill will have a new QB1 in 2024 after 2025 QB [player_tooltip player_id='897503' first='Devin' last='Richardson'] made the move over from Woodrow Wilson which should have Red Devils' fans excited for this season. Richardson picked up his first two college offers from in-state D2 programs as he's primed for a breakout senior season after putting together a quality junior campaign. He'll be making the transition out of a Wing-T offense to an RPO system which should play to his strengths and result in team and personal success. Richardson is a very good athlete with 6'3 length who should be more of a dual-threat in his new offense this season with more opportunities to showcase his arm talent as well.

We liked the flashes he showed as a junior which originally got him placed inside the Top 100 in the winter rankings update but now climbs inside the Top 70 with the potential to rise even higher once we see him perform with his new team.

It's always tough to evaluate small school players who may not always be facing the toughest competition each week, but 2025 Wahama running back [player_tooltip player_id='907169' first='Connor' last='Lambert'] has been making a name for himself this off-season. He turned heads at one of the WVU prospect camps this summer after ripping off a blazing 4.3 40 and showing off the high-level speed we saw on his junior highlight tape. Lambert has been rewarded with offers from WV State and Rio Grande so far with more sure to come with what should be a monster senior year on the football field. Size may be the one aspect of his game that keeps bigger programs from pulling the trigger on an offer, but Lambert will be a steal at the D2 level if that's where he eventually ends up. You can't teach speed and quickness and Lambert has a plethora of both and plays at a different level than players around him at the Class A level.

Lambert is emerging from under the radar heading into his senior year and is another athlete who could increase his stock and ranking after a highly anticipated final year with the White Falcons.

Another PRZ WV Combine participant who has been seeing his stock rise over the off-season is Nitro OL [player_tooltip player_id='908622' first='Dom' last='Wise'] who has risen 28 spots to the #38 overall spot in the 2025 rankings. We loved his junior highlight tape which resulted in a big jump in the rankings previously, but we wanted to get eyes on him in person to confirm some things before ranking him even higher. We were able to do just that after seeing him at our combine event back in May, and Wise has been impressive at every camp he has attended this summer. His efforts are beginning to pay off with scholarship offers from Glenville State and WV State along with PWO opportunities from both D1 programs in the state with WVU and Marshall. Wise is a wide and very strong human with the perfect size for a college offensive guard who's going to give interior defensive linemen fits this season and at the college level.

Wise is beginning to put it all together heading into his senior year, and we expect big things from the 6'2 305 big man as a Top 10 OL prospect.

Seeing 2025 Linsly OL [player_tooltip player_id='997461' first='Brock' last='Kuttie']'s name in here as one of our rankings stock risers should surprise no one if they've been reading the site or have seen him in person this off-season. Kuttie earned OL MVP honors at our combine event back in May and impressed enough at a WVU prospect camp to earn a PWO opportunity from the home-standing Mountaineers in June. We've said in the past that Kuttie had the potential to climb higher in our rankings and as a college prospect and he's done just that up to this point with a ton of momentum heading into his senior year. Kuttie is a prospect that every D2 program in the state and region should be all over and a bit surprising to have not seen more attention from schools at that level to date.

We believe with a strong senior season and another step in his development, Kuttie could earn some offers at the FCS level and work himself into being a D1 scholarship prospect by the time Signing Day comes around.

Weir TE [player_tooltip player_id='907237' first='Damir' last='Mowder'] is an underrated prospect in West Virginia who many people may not be aware of yet, but he's quietly been a very good player for the Red Riders in recent years and should break out during his senior season. Mowder was previously ranked as a WR in our rankings but from seeing him in person at camps this off-season, he's built like a TE with the potential to play LB/DE in college too. Weir loses the bulk of their offense from last season which saw them make the Class AA semifinals which puts Mowder in a great position to put up his best offensive stats to date in 2024. He's a physical specimen who hasn't looked like a high school player ever since his sophomore year and one of the more impressively put-together athletes we've seen in person this year. That makes it all the more impressive that Mowder lined up at safety some last season with the athleticism at his size to play on the back end.

His best position at the next level is yet to be determined, but we're eager to see him get more looks on offense as a pass catcher with a new quarterback in fellow 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1259785' first='Lucas' last='McAllister'] who can get the ball to him at a high level.

We've been high on 2025 Martinsburg DL [player_tooltip player_id='487112' first='Zavier' last='Pollard'] for a while now but a commitment to D1 Davidson made him deserving of a jump inside the Top 30. Pollard will be making the move from Musselman to perennial state power Martinsburg this season and should make an immediate impact for the defending state champions along the defensive interior. Pollard has made strides in increasing in size and has always had the athleticism and style of play to put him in the conversation of top DL in the state. Now in the 6'0 260 range, Pollard is primed for his best season yet with a lot of talent around him that could open more opportunities for him in the stat book. His wrestling background also aids his efforts on the football field a ton and is another trait we love in linemen.
